Be very careful what you give her to chew on, especially once her adult teeth come in. They have *very* strong jaws and can pulverize just about anything you give them. I would suggest only the very hardest, thickest, natural bones. We get them at our local farm supply store or our local butcher.
I would suggest other toys, but I'm afraid to, as even my Boston Terrier female can *eat* Nylabone. (Had to have emergency surgery that time. $2700 worth.) She also splits tennis balls wide open in a matter of seconds.
If your puppy starts to chip the bone, split it, or otherwise weaken it, throw it away and give her a new one. You can also try other "indestructible" toys and see how she does with them. Just be sure to watch the toys closely for deterioration and get rid of them. On warm days, you can even give her a big block of ice to chew on. That keeps my dogs busy for hours.
My husband used to give his APBTs tires to roll around the yard... Great exercise, but you still have to watch for them to bite chunks off. *lol*
Best of luck to you!

Definitely Kong toys. My pit bull would destroy the puppy ones so I moved on to the large ones quite early. She pretty much liked anything you would throw for her.
In my yard we have set up a contraption which is a piece of 2x4 attached to the top of our roof, then from that we have a thick rope hanging and at the end of it we put the rope through a kong and she likes to swing from that. She just latches on to the Kong and swings around. She usually takes a running start so gets a pretty good swing. This is pretty good exercise for the dog. My dog got some pretty big muscles quite fast.

~I would definatly reccomend a Puppy Kong and then work your way up to an adult dog Kong. You can see them online at: http://www.kongcompany.com. They are also available at your local pet store or Tractor Supply storeThey are VERY hard to destroy.
*A Kong is a very strong rubber toy that can hide treats inside and your dog can chew safely and work for treats.
Puppy Kong’s design, size and unique rubber formula provide the following benefits:
• Assists in teething.
• Aids in healthy development of your dog’s mouth.
• Promotes essential play.
• Encourages proper chewing habits.
• Soothes sore gums.
They also have other types of Kongs: Balls, Tug toys, retrieving toys, detal chews, and their plush squeek toys come with a free replaceable squeeker! They are pretty affordable considering how durable they are.
I have dogs and they LOVE Kongs! When they are hot, you can plug the bottom hole w/ peanut butter and fill it with water and stick it in the freezer. My dogs love it.

Hartz makes a couple of rope toys. They have a rope ball and a rope stick. They are both very durable. I had a lab mix that loved to chew and he didn't wear it out for a long long time. Also, I agree with the Kong rubber toys.

I used to breed pit bulls and I found Kong toys were pretty good for them to chew on.

Nylabones are great for aggressive chewers, not the gummy kind though.
Orka Jacks are also pretty great toys for aggressive chewers.
Kong toys are also a good option. Fill one with canned dog food, freeze it overnight, then give it to your pup. It will keep her occupied for a long while.
I have three bulldogs and they can destroy almost any toy.

Kong toys hold up well with hard chewers.
Pressed rawhide bones when you are watching her.
Nylabones are good for hard chewers.
All of the above last a long time for hard chewers.

My bulldogs love the orbee-tuff bone from Planetdog.com. They are big chewers and have yet to destroy one of these in over a year. My pup likes to carry hers around like a security blanket-the medium size is her favorite. Since they are bouncy, they tend to throw them around and chase them a lot, too.

my mom is a vet and she says no raw hide or pigs ears or anything like that....get her some rubber toys or a ball, my dog likes the dog stuffed animals...if you start giving her treats, don't give her anything that looks or smells like meat...meat and treats with meat cause pancreatitus which is a condition in which the pancreus (sp) swells and causes upset stomach, diahreah(sp) and vomiting...sorry about all the info, just warning you....

1. Nyla bone - but look for the large size bone. Mine can pulverize the average nyla bone in minutes.
2. At petsmart they sell bones filled with peanut butter flavoring. and when the dog gets the filling out, you can refill it with peanut butter.
3. kong with peanut filling
4. ever lasting treat ball (never tried this one but I bet it works)
