None of them really "vocalize," but king cobras DO growl, no one knows for sure why, since snakes can't hear. They do however pick up vibrations, so it could be a mating "call," a territorial thing, or a defensive strategy.

Not that I know of. Other noises that snakes can make are:
"Pop" - Western Hooknose Snake
"Rasp" - Desert Horned Viper
"Snore" - Eastern Hognose Snake
