You know those little rock-looking things that fish can pick at and the food comes out? Do betta fish eat those?

Someone told me they will use a litter box. They do not bark. They would not claw the furniture. They just hop around and look cute.
Is that true?

my dogs are very disobedient, to the point that they will not listen to anyone in the family, or a trainer.
My doberman, jumps up on stuff, doesnt come when hes called, and drags the whole family down the street when we take him for a walk.
My dacshund barks uncontrollably 24/7, also runs away, and starts huge fights with other dogs around the neighborhood.

I dont know if we have to resort to a shock collar, and please dont freak out at me for considering it, i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

Well, I've had this cat for about 3 years now. He started out as the most affectionate cuddly cat you can possibly imagine. But, while we were on vacation someone abused him. We saved him and moved to protect him and he got a little better. After the abuse he'd gotten pretty impersonal. He was almost his old affectionate self, but he seemed lonely so we got a second cat. He was all ga-ga for her. It seemed like he actually had a crush on her, but she's more interested in playing than snuggling and the whole thing has made him this loner kitty. He still loves to be pet and he eats just fine, but he doesn't follow us or sleep on the bed anymore. He likes to be in a seperate room. Is there any way I can help him to make peace with the second kitty? Or to help him be his old, affectionate self again? Any advice at all would be much appreciated.

She usually goes in the litterbox, but yesterday she went twice under my bed, in almost exactly the same spot.

I have been doing a lot of water changes to get my amonia levels lower in my tank, but I'm afraid that it is causing stress to my fish. I think that it gave them ick (which I've already treated) but I'm still worried that when I do more water changes it will get them sick again. If I get a stress coat supplement will it help?

I just bought a guinea pig yesterday but i can't think of any names for it... It's white with brown and black, and it's like calico... I was thinking along the lines of like Goh or Leonardo....or something like that because he is sort of splotchy like paint...or Picasso, but I like regular old names too, like Steven, and Tom and stuff!!!

*please*

I've been walking her dog for her for free because I feel funny taking money from her. She wants to pay me for walking her dog because she wants me to do it constantly. I also don't wanna be walking her dog for freeall the time because I have 2 dogs of my own. She said she can't afford to pay a dog walker $10 a day for $50 a week, but in reality, most dog walker charge at least $13. Plus, I know she makes good money and most of the time, she likes to throw her money away on starbucks, coldstone creamery, and expensive garbages. I don't wanna charge a friend but I also don't wanna get ripped off.

The vet said that we can do the vitamins and oatmeal shampoo, but that only treat the symptoms, not the cause. She only is itchy in the spring and summer, and it's not fleas, although she's allergic to that too. She's on Frontline all year long. He said that there is this new drug that treats the immune system, but she would have to be on it for life, and that scares me because she is only 3. He said that once we started we could not stop either, just to see if it worked. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you resolve it? I just hate that she's uncomfortable and I'm not seeming to get any real working solutions from the vet. Also, the 1st year of her life we lived in Minnesota and she had no problems, but when we moved to California that's when it started.

Yesterday, I left her to pet-sit my American Eskimo named Bosco. He is a boy. He is still a puppy. Well I have been friends with her for 5 years now and I gained alot of trust in her. I gave her the schedule. It had all the things to do for my pet.. ( I told her where is the food and stuff) I was leaving for a club meeting with my Pet Club.

It was a very short pet-sit. I came home at 12:42 and saw my friend hitting the dog. Bosco couldn't do anything cuz he was tangled with the leash. I took pictures with my digital camera and ran over there and told her to stop. She stood there surprised. I un-tangled my dog and put him in my bedroom for about 5 min. cuz I had to talk to her. I was very upset. When I saw the schedule I gave her, she didn't do any 1 of them. I went to go look at his food bowl and water bowl. It didn't have any food or crumbs. Neither did the water. I look at the treat bag. It was very full. I went to my room and see if she took the leash off. Nope. I got very mad...
