A standard poodle does not shed at all. Get to be about 75lbs and are very smart. Most dogs that are mixed with a poodle will not shed as well.

ok well i guess people dont understand your question. I have had labs all my life and they shed like crazy same with a rot. Some big dogs that don't really shed would be like a german shorthaired pointer, bull dogs, pitbulls, great danes, dobermans, weimaraner, bull mastif and beagles dont shed too much. Hope this list gives you some ideas.

I know that great Danes don't shed that much I raised them for many years and the biggest one was 200 lbs but standard poodles are as well good they don't shed at all. Greyhounds are good so are German Short Haired pointers

Shed little or none:
standard poodle
portuguese water dog
giant schnauzer

some larger dogs with short coats (they shed, but there will be less hair than a longer-haired dog like lab/husky/collie/etc):
boxer
doberman
bully breeds (pit bull, bulldog, bull terrier, etc)
weimaraner
greyhound
vizsla
german shorthaired pointer

keep in mind, having a dog with a temperament suited to you and your lifestyle is a better criterion for finding a dog you will be happy to live with than how much hair they will leave lying around.

The labradoodle (labrador-poodle cross) is becoming a very popular choice of dog as it is big but does not shed its fur.

I haven't had a lot of problems with my weimaraner and my neighbor hasnt had any trouble with his. They have really short hair and if you brush them regularly you wont find them to shed any or if so, very little.
