I saw a question on a betta fish molting, and was wondering. What ar e the recognizable differences? I mean, I know that scale rot is a desease and molting is shedding (for lack of a better term), but i was wondering what the physical difference was?

I have a Barn Swallow nest under my carport. It has been there since the spring, but I think they have just had thier first batch of nestlings. I have decided not to park my car completely under the carport to give the birds some space, as well as to keep any of the cats that roam my neighborhood from using my vehicle as a way to get to the nest. Yesterday one of the nestlings was on the hood of my car dead....The eyes weren't open yet and there were very few feathers. I know it didn't fall all the way over there, and there were no footprints on my hood to indicate a cat may have put it up there. Will the adults remove any of the nestlings from the nest if they die.....or if they have some other problem? Or does anyone else have any ideas on what could have happend? I am thinking the whole survival of the fittest, but how did it get on the hood of my car?

She wakes up with it swolen but it continues all day long...The medicine that i have been putting in it will sooth the eye and cure it for about a day or two and them it comes back...Any suggestions besides the vet, because if it gets any worse we will have to call him out again.

My cat is slowly dying, and the decision has been made that when it gets to the point that she's in too much pain to be cuddled or sweet, that we'll put her down. I can't help feeling like I'm taking something away from her by not letting her go on her own.

There is a problem in alaska, its freezing in winter, does any one know how petco gets there animals here?, i do, i work for them, they fly them in a cargo hold. its -60 in winter, they all die. I have been trying to stop this, but they will not listen. I cant have cam at work and managers stand over you when reciving animals, I realy need some help. please, if anyone has pictures of PETCO animals please send to me at alaskanboy_1yahoo.com. I would bring them to the attention of the media here, I am sure that will help, actualy i know it will, they will stop shipping here, because common scence says they are freezing to death, just dont think that most people think about how animals get to alaska.

is this normal for a kitten? it's kinda funny when he does this actually, he makes everyone laugh. he gets alot of attention and he luvs it to. he has PLENTY of toys and luvs to annoy my two year old cat as well. I'm just curious. any ideas?

How do u train a kitten to use the litter box(dont have a kitten yet in like 3 or 4 days i well)?When should u put them in the litter box? My litter box has a cover on top so i cant put him in it.So should i put him in front? and what time should i put the cat in front of it?

Three days ago, a dog came to my backyard. We think it lives 2-3 blocks away from us, we are not sure. But still, since nobody claimed it or posted anything at the laundry we decided to call the Animal Care & Control. They said they were gonna keep the dog for three days. If the owner doesn't come up in three days, they'll put it up for adoption. We were thinking of adopting it but my question is, about how much is it gonna cost us to support it? Monthly. It's a short-haired poodle. Thank you for your time.
