Petco abuse of animals, I need pictures?

There is a problem in alaska, its freezing in winter, does any one know how petco gets there animals here?, i do, i work for them, they fly them in a cargo hold. its -60 in winter, they all die. I have been trying to stop this, but they will not listen. I cant have cam at work and managers stand over you when reciving animals, I realy need some help. please, if anyone has pictures of PETCO animals please send to me at alaskanboy_1yahoo.com. I would bring them to the attention of the media here, I am sure that will help, actualy i know it will, they will stop shipping here, because common scence says they are freezing to death, just dont think that most people think about how animals get to alaska.

some one says that the airlines dont ship below freezing,lol, if they did not, all of alaska would be with out food or supplies, dumn people! use your head! its below freezing 7 monthes of the year! in fairbanks alaska.

You should contact PETA. They may be able to supply you with hidden cameras that you can use. They also have the funds to bring lawsuits against PetCo and to start boycotts of them. You should also report to local animal organizations. They may have more pull locally. Simply bringing it to the media may not garner action, but if the media works in conjunction with an animals welfare group, it may create a larger recognition and stronger punishment for the crimes.

I don't believe it. Airlines will not ship when it's below freezing much less that far below freezing. If they're all freezing to death they wouldn't *have* animals to sell. It doesn't do any good to contact peta and hsus - they've been after pet shops for years with false statements and the backlash to that is few believe it anymore. Common sense says when it's about profit they aren't going to take chances to lose $$. Combined with airlines not shipping animals in cargo I question if you are in alaska and/or really work for petco...or just here to slam them again. With people coming on here bragging about stealing from them I don't believe the anti-petco stuff anymore. There's simply been too many lies.

Petco has the absolutely WORST reputation for animal care! Notify PETA, PAWS, HSUS ASPCA.... the local newspaper. heres an idea; if you know when the next shipment is due to come in during the winter, NOW is the time to go to the news media. SHOUT YOUR *** OFF!! DO NOT LET ANYONE IGNORE YOU!!! You know of course that you are going to lose your job, but if they let you go for ANY REASON at all you WILL have good grounds to prove that it is retrobution and NOT job performance. ok i live in fairbanks alaska and i have a friend that works for the airlines. they have the cargo area of a plane heated to a certian temp, when it gets to a certian temp they dont ship animals up here. i know this personally. they made me wait before i could ship my animals from the lower 48 to alaska

You need to tell one of your friends that does not work for the company to show up at the delivery. They should have a video camera then they can get not only pictures of the animals, but if the staff or management flips out that someone is trying to get footage, it makes them look more guilty. And contacting P.E.T.A. is a good idea, too.

contact your local television network. if you are serious about this and helping these animals only the television can help you at this point. Call the airline and ask what their policies are for transporting animals. tell them of the abuse these animals are suffering and what do they intend to do about it. if they say nothing then tell them you will be contacting the local news and something will be done. Start threatening them, it will work.

As for what Brooklyn suggested it is all no longer actual!!! i'm a puppy Care manager in training for PetSmart in VA. i respect each and every of the animals there as if they were my own. even as honestly one of my human beings is doing some thing incorrect or harmfull i'm getting pissed. Im confident no longer all workers of puppy shops imagine that way yet dont classify us all in a unmarried catagory! I dont ruin chook eggs, we enable them hatch. I consider you that the petco that you artwork for desires to be stopped. Its stupid to even imagine of shipping animals to Alaska!!! i'm hoping you discover the information you want to end them! i comprehend no longer each and every person consents with puppy shops yet imagine earlier you act or say belongings you dont comprehend some thing about. Your up antagonistic to a huge employer that would want to bury you so get all of your ducks in a row earlier you act. one aspect Brooklyn suggested I do consider is dont call PETA until eventually its your very last hotel!!!! sturdy success and that i'm hoping to hearken to updates!

Petco is not animal friendly where I am. I have birds and went to look at there birds and seen a employee hand feeding and aspirated a bird right in front of me!!! I buy my birds from private breeders where I know they are hand fed and played with, it makes a big difference. I wish I could help you, I know where your coming from.

Contact PETA and tell them about it.....they WILL make sure that it is documented and will add it to their list of complaints against Petco and Petsmart and how they treat animals. Go to their website and contact them....I'm sure you will get ALL the media attention you need. Good luck....that is just horrible.

How about a letter writing campaign to their corporate offices letting them know that we think they need to provide humane treatment and transportation or we stop buying supplies there and in the US?

I have friends in bird clubs on line all over the world. I bet we could get their attention...
