yeah...yesterday actually!! it was discusting...it smelled really bad!!!

No, the llama I knew only spit at the owner's kids.
I would have too if I could have got away with it...
I even patted the llama sometimes and I guess they don't
really like that, but it never seemed to mind that much.

All the time! It's not a big deal, but it does smell bad. I work with half a dozen llamas, and one follows me with the sole purpose of spitting in my face. I just laugh it off - she's quite a character.

I haven't been, but a person I was with, was. There are pet llamas at a dairy farm in my town. They are kept behind the dairy bar and love ice cream cones. The kids were feeding the llamas the ends of their ice cream cones and a grownup was there, eating his cone in front of the llama. When he popped the end of the cone into his mouth, the llama looked at him and spit in his face!

Not on purpose, but then I tend to read their body language and know when I'm annoying them. I have been caught in the cross-fire (literally) of some alpacas at dinner time, and then of course there's the "Don't you even THINK about trying to shear me!" spitting that comes every spring...

honestly, convinced.... Im from Peru and after I went there to visit Machu Pichu it truly is the Incan Ruins they have Llama and Alpacas there interior the mountain as pets. additionally they improve them there. properly it spat at me. They often do only it to do it. I recommend they could get aggressive in case your risky to them. however it changed into extremely disgusting.
