For me it would be DOG, I like cats too but after I had my son I became allergic. I think dogs just give a little more back than cats. I hope i do not offend any cat lovers because i like them too and in my lifetime I've had 3, I just can't have them now!

I've always been a CAT person -- they're so much more independent and don't take nearly as much attention. They help decorate the house when curled up sleeping on the sofa, and they're great for keeping the mice away. We now have two dogs (only because my husband wanted them) and I have to say I've become attached. I still don't consider myself a dog person -- they're a lot of work and can be much more destructive than cats -- but I love my dogs.
Here's a couple of quotes I love relating to dogs and cats (sorry I don't remember who said them):

I grew up with dogs. All my life I have had dogs. But when I moved out of my parents house and in to an apartment with my boyfriend, we couldn't have dogs so we got a cat, and yesterday we just got our 2nd cat. I would have to say that I am at a toss up. I like different stuff about the both but right now I am sticking with cats, maybe in the future i will get another dog...

I'm a Cat and Dog person. I have three dogs and a cat now. And I was a baby when I had my first cat and three when I had my first dog!

I LOVE dogs and I'm allergic to cats once I got all red bumps on me it was scary! DOGS RULE!!! but some cats I like and I'm not allergic to them

Definately Dogs, igot my first this weekend and she is soo cute her name is Phoebe and she is a Shih Tzu.
I have had cats and they tend to be snobbish and independent and they dont like company or being bothered too much a dog definately gives more back they are loving and they read your emotions correctly and know exactly what to do to cheer you up.
so dogs for me is 10 outa 10
