I am having my bunny, Athena, spayed today and I pick her up at 4pm, what exactly should I do for her? Should I clean her pen several times a day (when she soils her paper) or just once? Should I take the litterbox out- could she hurt herself on it? I placed a sheet over her kennel and have fresh food and water ready. Should I give her a bunch of treat sticks to keep her distracted from chewing her stiches? How often should I check on her?

Muzzles I've seen would seem to prevent the dog from panting and cooling off. Anyone have a recommendation or a website for a specific product?

Hi. In my office I have a fish tank that belongs to my boss who is on holiday. Now sometimes the tank will leak at the front when he tops up the water. However now it is leaking quite badly at the back not major but dripping in 3 different places. Any suggestions what could be wrong and how to fix it. Bearing in mind I dont know the first thing about fish. Thanks.

I live on a farm and have outdoor cats. They are dying left and right. They have some disease. My question is if I give them all shots, will it help or will they die anyway because they already have something? Or would it work only on the ones that show no signs of disease yet? I just got some really cute kittens and I can't let them die! LOL I get entirely too attached to all of my animals...always have. :)

We have lived in this house for 2 years, pets were ok to have so we got an Old English Bulldog. Recently my landlord decided to let his daughter take over and be the landlord, when she saw our dog she asked to buy it. We told her it was not for sale so she decided that we have 1 week to get rid of the dog. I am heartbroken, can she do this? Help me please.

We haven't changed anything, but the litterbox area did get a bit messy. We have since kept it in pristine condition, but the problem has been persistent for the last year and we do not know how to fix the problem. We tried taking him to the spot and showing him it and then gently smacking him on the nose, but to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this? What could we do to thwart this behavior. Please help! I adopted a kitten from the shelter two weeks ago. She has been to the vet and had her first set of shots already. She has been sneezing for about a week. First it was clear snot and now it is a little greenish. She is playing and eating normally. Is this something serious? Does she need a vet?

My one cat is missing fur at the tip of his tail and he has wounds that often open and ooze clear liquid or bleed, my other cat is missing hair by her tail on her back and on her head and my other cat is resently loosing hair around his butt itself. Does anyone know what causes this and what i can do for it? I dont know when I can afford to take them to the vet but if its an emergency i can always borrow the money

My dog got hit by a slow moving train. Shes still alive but her nerves are messed up. She can hardley ever get up when she falls and has difficultly getting into her bed. Also she has sores on her paws that are very big and bloody. I don't know what to do. do you know how many years she might have left or what I can do to help her. Also the vet said he can't do anything but I don't believe him.
