Are bunnies hard to take care of? Do they chew up carpet and flooring?

Recently my first parakeet died. My other one was lonely so on saturday we got her a new friend. Well, Paula (the lonely one) seems to be EXTREMELY mean and territorial. and Sissa (the new friend) really wants to make friends, but every time she gets close to Paula, Paula snaps at her face. I don't want to have to confine them to different cages (I have a small cage that we aren't using) but we can't think of anything else to do. soo. Why dosent Paula like Sissa and what can i do about it?

He's only 2 inches maybe. I've had him for about 3 months. Was trying to get him bigger to give to my brother because he has a bigger tank. I only have a 10 gal. My brother's is a 120 gal.

I often wake up in the morning to find my 7 mon. old Papillon (small breed related to small Spaniels and Chiwawas) shaking violently. She is, as per her breed, a very peppy and outgoing dog - but during these times she is lethargic and limp. At first I thought it might be something with her blood sugar, but no amount of suppliments seems to help and she's supposed to have grown out of hypoglycemia by this age.

I took her to the vet a few months ago, and he insisted it was probably hypoglycemia or a reaction to a small virus. It has happened at least once every fortnight since, though.

On the bright side, the symptoms usually go away within an hour or so, and she has never yet lost conciousness or stopped breathing.

Still, I am worried. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this happen before? Could it possibly still be hypoglycemia, even though she is going into 8 mons. of age?

Thanks in Advance.

I got my puppy from an animal rescue shelter and they tried to tell me she was a Chihuahua/mini-Pin mix. There is no sign of either dog in her looks. I was told she looks more like a Yorkie/Jack Russell. Just wondered what you think. Here is a pic (sorry~ crappy digital).

My cat cannot behave I do not know what to do. I know she's curious but how do I keep her away from certain areas? I don't want to spray her with water because she enjoys her baths but some of these things are precious to me and she is out to destroy them all it seems is there a way to disipline her or is this gonna be the rest of my life?

We thought maybe the hampster belonged to someone else and we're going to go to our neighbor's houses and see if it's theirs. But I was wondering what it eats?

I know that you are can get poodles that dont shed, but i am not interested in the breed at all. I Love Dobermans and have always wanted one, thats the kind of dog that my fiance wants too. we recently moved in with people that owned cats and we were both allergic, and in time we just got used to it and wernt allergic anymore. I know there are dander reducing shampoos and i can get a hepa filter and it should make a big difference. Has Any one had any experiance like this? Any information would me appreciated. I have Also been getting mixed results on the question do Dobermans shed, some people say they dont shed at all and others say quite a bit.. Thanks for any info..

My three yr old POA mare foaled what I consider to be a very small foal. I did not know the mare was bred when I bought her.

Living in Scotland, my puppy isn't exactly used to hot weather, but we're having a random heatwave and the poor thing is sweltering. Other than providing a bowl of cold water, is there anything i can do to help her stay cool?

I have two cats (indoor only) and one small (indoor/outdoor) dog. I have a huge fenced in back yard and I was considering getting a large dog (outdoor only) for protection and to keep my dog company while he's outside. My questions are:

1. Will getting a new dog affect my dog's personality?
2. Will one dog being allowed inside while the other isn't cause problems?

I have a 10 gallon tank which I'm going to put either a male betta or some female bettas in. Would I be better off to just put the female bettas in the 10 gallon tank and get a smaller 4 gallon tank for the male betta, or just put the male betta in the 10 gallon tank and not bother with female bettas? I have heard that male bettas do not live very long in in big tanks, so I didn't know about putting him in the 10 gallon tank. Thanks!!
