You should get a bunny, they are soo cute and easy to care for. I had a bunny in the past and they stay in their cage. You can bring them out to play and run around in a small area around your house. Don't worry, they won't chew up your carpets.
They can be messy though so its important to clean their cages often.
Good luck.

I have had 3 bunnies in the past 11 years. They are really good pets, but you really have to look out for them.

A simple bunny schedule (from my experience): Feed them everyday, provide clean water everyday, change their cage every x-amount of days, depending on their size; give them some exercise each day (e.g. let them run around but do keep an eye on them to prevent them from chewing up cables and the floor).

Overall, it's really simple. With some rabbits, you can even train them to go to the bathroom in a kitty litter box. They all require a lot of TLC.

Let me know if you need any more info. What I've given may sound a bit rush rush, so sorry bout that! ^_^

A bunny is not too hard to take care of, but it will tend to make messes and chew things. You need to make sure it's teeth and claws stay trimmed (they actually can starve if you let their teeth grow too long) and keep its cage clean, and it will make a very nice pet. You can look at general bunny info online or get a book from the library or pet store to see if it's really something you want to pursue, but if you're up for the challenge, I say go for it!

It depends if you have the ability to provide at least the three basic needs of a shelter, food, and some where to go. They normally dont chew up flooring and you should make sure if your bunny is from a certified breeder so that you wont have any problmes with diseasses the bunnies have.

I highly recommend getting a bunny, they are wonderful pets, mine follows me around like a puppy, he listens to commands as well as any dog, they are wonderful cuddle partners. They do love to chew up carpet and flooring, but I found if I gave him chew sticks, and his own pieces of carpet he seemed to be content.

I had a bunny once so did my sis then my sister's bunny turned out to be a boy instead of a girl and my bunny had two litters then died because she was to young to go through alllll that! So if you really want a bunny get a boy and be ready for poop and smell!

rabbits are a great pet if you are willing to take the time to get to know them. They aren't affectionate like dogs or cats. They're affectionate in their own way. They can be litter box trained too. Please don't get a rabbit and let it live in a hutch outside. Domestic rabbits weren't meant to live outdoors. I suggest that you look at these websites and see if a rabbit is for you. You should also read the book The House Rabbit Handbook. Find a local chapter of HRS and adopt a bunny, don't buy from a breeder.

Bunnies are a good pet just make sure you get a male, we recently got a guinea pig the store told us was male and it gave birth to five little ones 2 weeks ago. Fortunately we have people who want 4 of them and just plan to keep 1 female to keep the other female company.

You should only get a bunny if you can commit the time and money needed to care for it properly. They are not disposable toys. It will grow up and its cage will need frequent cleaning and it will need vet care. Make certain you can commit to a bunny for its entire lifetime before deciding to get one. Also, if you are a child, ask your parents first.
