I say he is not hit by a car because ppl here dont rly care about the animals and if a car hit him he would have been dead long ago.. I cant take him to the vet right now because first of all he is not working now so even if i called nobody is gonna pick up.. and im from Cyprus so thnx for the number but i cant use it.. and btw here in cyprus there are not animal hospitals like in UK or wherever..and from my experience if i take the cat somewhere right now they will do nothing until tomorrow.. honestly..But thnx for your advice all.. i really cant take him right now but i wish i could..however the cat is not going to die.. i just now it..i will take him tomorrow and i really hope there is nothing serious.. thnx anyway..
Oh and something else.. does anyone know if this could be cause from calcium? not having enough? thnx

awwwww.....sorry,and yes it did happen to me .I had a kitten that I bottle fed and everything and like as he got older we let him out side(mistake). Then like as 2 hrs.went by me and my mom was calling his name and he didn't come back then a little while later as it was getting dark we was calling his name again and still nothing. So then something was wrong so I went outside and looked all over for him then he came back and he was really rowdy so he climbed up a tree climbed up really high jumped out and broke his leg.:(so the next day we took him to a emergency vet and they took x-rays ofhis leg and the doc said that they may have to put him down if it was really bad and it wasn't so the doc said just keep him in his cage and it would heal.So it did but it took like 3-4 weeks. Then something terrible happened he got outside again and he never came back it has been 7 months without him.We think he got ran over or somebody took him in even though he was already an inside cat.

Sounds like he was hit by a car and his spinal cord was damaged, so he can't control his legs. You need to take that cat to a vet hospital immediately. Do not wait until tomorrow. He could die by then. Please go now. Look in the phone book and find any vet that is open. Most of the pet hospitals have emergency workers available. Make phone calls to everyone in the phone book; find someone to see your cat now.
When a cat is hit by a car, they don't always die right away. They usually die later from UNTENDED injuries. As far as I know, Cyprus is a part of the civilized world; if you put some effort into it, you will find a vet or animal hospital that is open. They all have some form of after-hours care or emergency care. Take the cat to a vet. No excuses. I feel bad for the cat, but am losing sympathy for you.
Here, call these people and ask them where to take the cat:

You need to take him to the vet or the ASPCA. Immediately as in WHY AREN'T YOU THERE YET!!!!
Don't let this poor animal suffer any longer - you must step up and take action. And don't just drop him at the door and leave - have some compassion for the poor animal. Most vets will work with you if you cannot afford something. But don't put him to sleep just because of money if the cat can lead a fulfilling life!
Most vets will have an emergency 24-hour number. Take a look....

That's aweful! Sound serious. There should be a vet on call. Keep calling clinics until you find someone. Here there is a Referral Clinic that is on call 24-7. You can call them and they connect you to a vet in your area that's on call. It will be expensive, but your cat is worth it. He is sufferring, so if you can't offord to have him fixed up, he should have painkillers or sedatives until you can borrow $$$ or can decide if you need to euthanize him. I hope you can find somewhere to take him. There's nothing you can do at home besides putting him in a crate to keep him from moving and hurting himself more. You can use ice for swelling every couple hours, but you never know, it may do more harm than good. He probably got hit by a car. Pelvic fractures are not uncommon with car injuries. It could be his back, too. If he has no internal problems he can recover just fine from broken bones. I hope it's not as serious as it looks! Good luck! I feel so bad!

How do you know he wasn't hit by a car. the tires could have just dinged him a little bit. I feel bad for the little guy. I guess as long as he isn't in pain, it can wait till tomorrow. But there could be internal bleeding or something. Even if the nearest animal hospital is an hour away, I'd take my cat there if that happened. Your cat also may have gotten his legs caught under something, ie. something fell on him.
Good luck.

it is not weird for a cat to end up with broken legs or pelvis(hips)
how do you know he was not hit by a cat, or kicked by some viscious human? have you called around to any emergency animal places? what country do you live in? or state? bring him in and lay him down on something soft and keep him still so he doesn't cause any more damage or pain to himself. see if you wants to eat some soft food and some fresh clean water. if you have to wait until tomorrow to see the vet then do not feed him abything more after midnight so he has an empty stomach in the morning incase the vet needs to sedate him(he shouldn't have any food in his stomach incase he vomits under sedation) there isn't really much you ca do beside keep him still and quiet. you cannot give him any over the counter human pain meds as this could kill a cat. just keep him calm and attend to him so he knows he is now safe and will be taken care of. if his hip is broken then he will need to be kept still for 6 weeks intil the bone heals and may need surgey to pin the pelvis together at the correct angle. i have a cat who wat kicked and had a broken pelvis. he did not need surgery, but i had to keep him still for weeks until the bone set and i had to pick him up and hold him in the litter box. good luck taking care of this poor injured little guy.
get him to a vet immediately as you are his only hope for getting help.(he came back to you for help!) GOOD LUCK!!

I would take him to the vets ASAP! Chances are he could have been hit by a car and that caused internal damage to him. From what you've said about him dragging his hind legs, his spinal cord could have been damaged. If at all possible, you need to call your vet and tell them this is an emergency. Chances are if they know it's an emergency situation, they will have you come in and bring your cat so they can assess the damage to him.

I feel real sorry for the little guy ... if he was a human in this condition, then someone would move the earth to get them help !!! Your vet isn't working ?? Then go elsewhere NOW !!.
A word of advice to allllll cat lovers ?? To prevent car accidents, getting where they shouldn't, disappearing for one reason or another ?? PUT THEM ON A LEASH !!! Yes folks, they can be trained to a leash quite easily. Quicker process when they're young, but is still doable. My cat hears the bell on the collar attached to the leash and he knows he is going outside to eat grass, chase bugs and protect his property, within limits but you can't tell me isn't happy and healthy this way. And he has a chance to die of natural causes in his old age.

Oh that is so sad. I hate to think of what could have happened? Just love on him and get him to the doctor ASAP. If you can't get him to your usual vet. try and emergency pet clinic. Check your yellow pages. Animals do feel pain, much more than they show. I learned about this long ago. They wouldn't let on to their pain when their owners were near, I don't remember if it was they were trying to be good for their owners or what? But, that just makes me sad for that little thing.
