He's only 2 inches maybe. I've had him for about 3 months. Was trying to get him bigger to give to my brother because he has a bigger tank. I only have a 10 gal. My brother's is a 120 gal.

I dont think he's dying. Oscars are very personable fish, when something happens that they don't like, they will "pout" or lay on the bottom of the tank, or change colors. This is especially the case when tank decor is moved around, or introduced into a new tank. If it is eating well, I wouldn't worry. Keep up on water changes (once a week!- oscars are very messy) and he should be alright. I would give him about a month and a half before he will be too big for that ten gallon though, so let your brother know!
Good luck.

try moving him into a bigger tank even if you only go up to a 20 or 30 gallon tank. the bigger the tank the bigger the fish. started mine in a 29 gallon then moved up to a 65 gallon. Good Luck!!!

He doesnt have anywhere to move to. He'll be happier in the 120 gal.
