My cat caught a hampster. What do they eat?

We thought maybe the hampster belonged to someone else and we're going to go to our neighbor's houses and see if it's theirs. But I was wondering what it eats?

They sell special food at pet stores. It's a mix of what looks like seeds. They also eat vegetables, grass, bread. If you give him something he doesn't like he might not eat it. I had many hamsters over the years and to let you know they tend to store their food inside their mouth, so the cheeks look swollen but that's just the food :)

I have had plenty of hampsters. They love cheerios as a snack but they eat like vegtables too. The best thing to get though is hampster food which you can get anywhere even most grocery stores that sell pet food. You can also give them sunflower seeds they love 'em.

In the wild they eat hampster pellets, you can go in the woods and find some or buy some pre-gathered pellets at a pet store.

Cats will eat hamsters. As for what the hamster eats; They love lettuce/cabbage and almost any vegetables. Do NOT give them ONLY vegies, however-they need grain foods as well. Cereals, bird seed. Never forget to have water for them, also.

I had a hamster and she ate hamster food and nuts and carrots and hard fruits and veg. and w.e eles we could get her to eat (she ate cat food sometimes lol) she would stuff the stuff in her cheeks thats totally normal...
