My one cat is missing fur at the tip of his tail and he has wounds that often open and ooze clear liquid or bleed, my other cat is missing hair by her tail on her back and on her head and my other cat is resently loosing hair around his butt itself. Does anyone know what causes this and what i can do for it? I dont know when I can afford to take them to the vet but if its an emergency i can always borrow the money

My cat that has the wound was out once, he came back bleeding and thats when i noticed he had cuts and his fur was missing. My other cat by her tail looks like it was shaved but her head looks like my other cats wound area the fur is just gone like it was waxed or something you see skin no stubs of hair, they have fleas because one cat we can barly keep in the house and my brother isnt careful when he goes out and she gets out or she digs out of the side of the air conditioner. I havnt noticed anything wrong with her yet. My other cat thats missing fur around his butt the fur is gone no stubble hair. I have flea collars on them except the one thats missing fur on 2 spots her head and base of her back but she did have one til she got out too and lost it. they never had flea collars on before could this be a reaction to it? the one with oozing wounds is oozing clear liquid and hes always licking there, could he be pulling the scab off or making it soft to ooze?

Usually that is a sign of flea and tick allergy, but just to make sure talk to a vet.

The cat that has the "oozing" needs to be taken to the vet immediately. There is clearly an infection there. Do your cats have all their shots up to date? Sounds like you have them outside and they are getting into fights. The hair loss could be from fights or it could be some sort of fungus of infection that the picked up from other outdoor animals. It could also be from itching due to fleas. Please take your wounded cat to the vet.

Could be ringworm, not an emergency but will need treatment. It can also affect you so wash your hands any time you touch them, just in case. It could be other things including fight wounds or abscesses or parasites, only a vet would be able to diagnose your cats.

Anything ''oozing'' should probably have vet attention before it turns into a bad infection.

You need to take them to the vet. This sounds like it's contagious.
