You just put the collar on then give them a teeny treat and praise them. When its time to walk with a leash you should start by walking them separately on a short leash. After awhile they will learn to match your steps.

Introduce them slowly to the collar and leashes. Try the collar first and the leash after. For each allow them to smell and see the collar on the floor. Then play with the collar with them. Eventually put it on for short periods of time, increasing the amount of time until they become used to it. Praise them often.
Same with the leash. When you clip it on, just let them stay in the house increasing the time they wear it. When they are ok with it for say 15 minutes then do short walks in the house. Eventually take them out and praise them nonstop.
Work on these at least 5 minutes at a time, maybe once every hour for several days increasing the time.

Even thought they will not like it leave the collar on at all times tight enough they can not get it off. They will not be mad at you and in about two days they won't even remember they are wearing one. As for the leash put them on it anyways and walk them around your yard before anywhere else. Just walk holding the leash, it will probably drag them the first few steps but they will soon get the piont and become better everyday. Practice alot! Good Luck!

the faster you initiate the collar the extra desirable. Many breeders placed delicate collars on the doggies suitable whilst they are born so as that they are able to tell the doggies aside (understand what ones the place first/final, which of them have problems) break free collars are sturdy (like a cat collar) because of the fact they are able to get caught on issues or one yet another and that they'll come aside. in case your domestic dog is older (8 weeks plus) introduse the collar a touch slower. enable him sniff it, placed it on and hive him a cope with and compliment, play with him. be useful you learn regularily to be sure if the collar needs to be loosened Leash could be presented at 8 weeks. back enable him sniff it, placed it on and only enable him play around draging it (supervise). try this for some days , then you definately can start to %. it up and only get him used to you keeping it and walking. From there you may start leash coaching sturdy success!

put the leash and collar on in the house and let them walk around with it on. occasionally pull on the leash to let them know that you will have control. try walking around the back yard separtely then together. give them treats when they do good things.

all puppies put up a fight when it comes to wearing a colar and leash. You just have to keep working with them. Eventuslly they'll get the idea.

The previous advice is good, but you need to learn now, who is in charge. Those dogs are going to contol your life if you don't make sure they learn who is boss. In addition, you might start feeling resentment towards them and blame them for something that isn't their fault. Take them to obedience classes now!

Well.....it probably is the first time that they had someone try to put one on them and they aren't use to it! Get advice from someone who has dogs or call a vet for help.
