I would just place a towel or two around the bottom the tank, and make sure the water level doesn't get too low (just fill it up every few days). Wait until your boss returns, for then he can fix the problem. That, or if you are able to contact him, let him know the situation.

The fish tank seals are going from stress. It may not have been placed level or on an even surface. It could give out at any time. Depending ot the size it might be capable of being sealed again but I wouldn't suggest it. If you can reduce the water in it without shutting down the filter it may reduce the stress until your boss is back, but unless you are willing to make a potentially expensive decision while he is gone, there isn't much you can do.

Years ago I used to keep a number of fish tanks, and once in awhile one would develop a leak. Fixing it involved taking the fish out and putting them in large plastic bags about half full of water and half air and opening and closing the bags periodically to allow fresh air in (or use of an airstone and a pump).
Then you thoroughly clean the tank out, let it dry and put some silicon sealant on the seams inside and let that dry. Then you reassemble.

How big of a tank is it? If its not large, I would try to find a temporary replacement tank for the fish, water, decor, etc. and then reseal the leaks with an aquarium-safe sealant. Otherwise, find a more permanent replacement.

Get a new fish tank. The people at the pet store can instruct you on what you need to do to get it started. Quick before your boss comes back, and the carpet's soaked, and his fish are gasping for air on the floor! Be sure to keep your receipts. If they're not your fish, and it's not your tank, your boss should reimburse you for your expenses. And will be glad you saved his fish!

Empty the tank. Get rid all of the old silicone glue and put the new silicone glue. If you think it is need some expert to do it, than you have the option to get some help from the fish/aquarium shop, or get the new aquarium.

ur gonna need a new tank, but 4 now, try to use krazy glue or really strong, waterproof tape. U should ask ur boss 2 replace it. If he's kinda stingy or ur afraid, just leave a note on his desk or email him saying 2 get a new tank.

If there is no serious damage (cracks, holes..) that you can see, it may be the caulking around the top is wearing out. Go to a pet store, ask someone in the fish dept if they have a special caulking you can use to patch it up.
