How do you tell if the floors are hardwood, or, laminate? We just bought a place and are not sure. We cannot contact the seller, so, please do not suggest that. (he has made himself unavailable since we closed).

Also, is the care & cleaning of laminate different from hardwood? If so, how do you clean laminate?

They are Puma Mostros (no leather, just velcro, plastic, rubber, and some kind of nylon material).

While you're in sauna/steam, will you sit in there naked, or wrap the towel at your waist instead? If you sit in there naked, will cover up your privates by towel or by hand?

I wanted to know if anyone has ever disconected the dryer vent to the outside of the house... so all the exaust goes inside the house. Reason for that is to put humidity in the house during the winter, and to get the clean clothes dryer smell in the house.

If anyone has done this, how did you do it? Other then disconecting the dryer vent?

I am looking for something for my dishwasher and I also need something for my high efficiency top load wash machine. Any other natural ideas would be great too. Thanks

Two days ago a i purchased a box of colored pencils, when i opened the box a chipmunk leapt out and attempted to latch onto my face but he narrowley missed and landed in a hotdog vendor behind me. the chipmunk was accidentaly served to a man as a hotdog. The man ate the entire chipmunk and got a taste of blood in his mouth and he wanted more. The man went about the zoo and ate every animal in it. unfortunatley he did it in front of small children who were horrified. a special ops team was called in to take him out. the team met the man and they ended up being very swell friends and having a tea party together. i conclude my story with this question; where can i buy a good pair of waterproof boots?

My mom says that if I don't, the food residue gets stuck in some sort of tube, which forces it to get clogged up, which forces us to call a plumber and pay big bucks.

Water started coming up from my septic so i dug it up, and opened it. To find big white hard chunks. The chunks seem to be clogging the septic. I have no idea what the chunks would be. My laundry runs on a seprate line so I dont believe it is laundry soap. I also use liquid washing detergent for my dish washer so it couldnt be that. Any one have any suggestions?

I'm talking about 4 bedrooms and more have a maid, or housekeeper that cleans it? Let's say in your area do most of the moms of households have a cleaner or do they do it themselves?

Now, if they do it themselves are they working jobs full time, and if so where do they find the energy to maintain to clean a huge home?
Believe me, I can spot a fibber who says they work 5 days, cook, clean home.... that is impossible unless you are an energizer bunny.

Please be honest, here and I can tell who is fibbing right off the bat.

Can a woman who works 6 days a week very phsycial and heavy work, have a family and a 5 bedroom home ever clean her home? She can't afford a maid as she would charge nearly $18-20 an hour because her home is huge.

So, if you work, have a huge home, and have no time to clean a house and don't have a maid who cleans the house, what does one do?

I have my carpets cleaned once in the Spring and once in the Fall by professionals. What can one do to clean carpets between those times, mainly the traffic areas? Does that Resolve product really work? I don't have a large area in each of my 4 carpeted rooms upstairs. It is the traffic areas that I would like to treat every few weeks as needed. Does anyone else have an idea other than renting a machine and doing it myself, which I am unable to do. I also have a carpeted stairway. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I put way too much bleach in once, the clothes ended up shredded, once I put a red sweater that bled with some whites, what a mess.

MY FAMILY THINKS I AM WEIRD BECAUSE I MAKE THEM TAKE THEIR SHOES OFF BEFORE THEY COME INTO MY HOUSE. I WAS RAISED IN A NOT SO CLEAN HOME AND MIGHT BE A LITTLE TOO COMPULSIVE ABOUT HOW CLEAN I KEEP MY HOUSE BUT I CANT HELP IT I DONT WANT MY KIDS TO LIVE LIKE I DID IN A DIRTY HOME AND SCARED TO BRING THEIR FRIENDS OVER BECAUSE THEY MIGHT MAKE FUN OF THEM. BUT I THINK YOU SHOULD NOT BRING THE OUTSIDE IN. NOT ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE KIDS THAT PLAY ON THE FLOOR BUT I HAVE LIGHT COLORED CARPET AND I REALLY LIKE MY HOUSE TO BE AS CLEAN AND NEAT AS POSSIBLE. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.
