I already soaked it in hot water & got the paper off and now it is sticky. The nail polish remover made it worse.

Yes, tired of looking at the stuff even after I wash this tub/shower.
IT's the sides of the acrylic shower that seem real stubborn.
Don't want to look at it anymore + my arms get tired fast from scrubbing because I'm a woman w/weak arms [they are petite, lol] ...
anyway WHAT in the world can I use to soak the junk off b4 I even get started on scrubbing this off??
Thanks

I spilled a lot of water I mean gallons! on my carpet and I have been soaking it up and cleaning it up. I have most of it out but Im worried about mold buildup since I live in an apartment. In a month or so Im getting my carpet cleaned. Will I be fine? Or should I buy a carpet cleaner myself and suck up the rest of the water thats left. Thanks!

There is a blood stain on my sheet and I washed it out with soap and water and then sprayed it with a stain remover, but I don't have a washing machine and the laundry mat doesn't open until tomorrow morning. Do you think it will come out once I wash it?

My parent thinks it's the owner of the pants to check the pockets and if anything important gets washed it's not the person who put the pants into the washing machine's fault.

My cousin gave me some hand me down clothes for my baby girl. I really appreciated them as they are adorable but both her and her husband are heavy smokers and the clothes wreak of smoke! We are a non-smoking family and I really need to get the smoke smell out of these clothes! I tried washing them in Baby Dreft but it did nothing. In fact, I threw in some of my baby's other non-smoked clothes, and the smoke permeated to those too! Please help! Only serious replies.

I wash dishes in a double sink and in the basin with the dish drying rack, the bubbles come up, soiling the dishes I've just washed and leaves a mildew if I don't clean it every time. Is this something I can fix or is it something I have to live with. Any answers would be much appreciated!

is it possible to fit a clothes spindryer into a kitchen in a flat that has no external walls? Or do you need to be able to drill through a wall for the (i think) nozzle part of the dryer? Thanks

I am looking to purchase a really nice skillet for my mother for her birthday. I have been really looking into getting her a COOKS 12 inch Anodized Skillet that is over-safe and guaranteed for life. I was wondering if that was a good idea or not. I have bought many different skillets for her and all of the eventually start to stick. Any advice is welcome. Thank you. I will be sure to choose a best answer!

you know i learn new things everyday. like for example found out that i shouldnt prune my cherry tree as the fungal spores causing sliverleaf are rife at this time of year. If the tree becomes infected then it would have slowly died.
Second thing i learned was that you shouldnt put your curtains in the wash. i mean i did consult the manual and i did what it said. low temp, low spin cycle and on delicates setting but they have shrunk by about 4 inches off the ground.
any ways to reverse this? i could stretch it again i suppose. any chemical that could help.

Ok. I have made my first Gymboree purchases and am having some problems. I can't seem to get every day food "stains" off of my daughter's clothing! Things like cereal, goldfish, etc. She just turned 1 and enjoys feeding herself. I put a bib on , but it doesn't always stop things from getting on her clothes. I've never had a problem with other clothes, but the Gymboree ones.... I can't seem to get anything out! I pre-treat it with Stain Stick and then soak it for 30 minutes or so before I run it through the washer in cold water and though the stains are less noticeable, they are still there!!!! Can someone PLEASE help me as I don't want these ruined after one wear seeing as how expensive they are!!
