There is a blood stain on my sheet and I washed it out with soap and water and then sprayed it with a stain remover, but I don't have a washing machine and the laundry mat doesn't open until tomorrow morning. Do you think it will come out once I wash it?

Michael G, everyone makes spelling mistakes. There's no reason to correct them in such a nasty way. Don't bring your personal problems here.

I would try hydrogen peroxide until you can get to the laundry mat.. My husband is a nurse and uses hydrogen peroxide on his nursing scrubs for dried blood.

Probably. Just make sure you wash it in cold water. Hot water "cooks" the proteins and they sort of weld themselves to the fibres - never to come out. If you sprayed it with stain remover and it has since dried, you need to re-spray the entire area right before you put it into the washing machine and rub the stained area which will help to further loosen the stain. If you have it on hand, believe it or not, Head and Shoulders shampoo works great on blood stains. No idea why - I heard it from some expert on the radio - but it does work!

There is a product, Carbona Stain Devils, especially for blood stains.

My step-son got blood on a comforter, washed and dried it, and than told me about it.....this got the majority of the stain out to a point of being no longer noticible.

I have used this product on other stains and they work very well.

They can be found in most major grocery stores near either the seing notions section or the laundry supplies. I think based on space.

Hope this helps.

Possibly. Wash it in cold water, not hot.

Best stain remover I've seen so far is Spray 'n Wash dual action. It has two chambers in the bottle that mix together when you spray it, then it reacts with the stain. It's good. Thumbs up.

Soak the stain with hydrogen peroxide. You may even add a little to the wash. It should come out easily.

Blood stains come out if you soak the item in cold water.

I would say so, but if not, try mixing bicarbionate soda with salt and lemon juice, then tip on the sheet, let it dry on the sheet, then wash. Otherwise, it may come out with a few washes, gradually fading each time.
Hope you can get it out!

When I get blood on my clothes, I always spit some saliva on it, and I swear it works! I know it sounds gross, but I saw it on Regis and Kelly once. As long as the stain has not been set, you can get it out this way.
