Ok. I have made my first Gymboree purchases and am having some problems. I can't seem to get every day food "stains" off of my daughter's clothing! Things like cereal, goldfish, etc. She just turned 1 and enjoys feeding herself. I put a bib on , but it doesn't always stop things from getting on her clothes. I've never had a problem with other clothes, but the Gymboree ones.... I can't seem to get anything out! I pre-treat it with Stain Stick and then soak it for 30 minutes or so before I run it through the washer in cold water and though the stains are less noticeable, they are still there!!!! Can someone PLEASE help me as I don't want these ruined after one wear seeing as how expensive they are!!

I have all different brands of children's clothing.. Anyway, pretreat the stains as usual but, also add about 1/3c. of baking soda to your wash water and launder as usual.. .That should take out any odor's or stains...

Also, if you are planning on buying expensive baby/toddler clothing it might not be a bad idea to scotch guard them to keep them from getting stains OR at meal times putting on play clothing so that a nice outfit doesn't get ruined... good luck
