I have no excuse not to clean up because I have nothing else to do and can't go anywhere. Please give me some encouraging words to clean up.

I don't know what kind of paint it is, but it's translucent. It's on a glass bowl that has roses embossed in it, so there a lot of nooks and crannies. It was probably applied at the glass factory and they wanted to to make it look like old carnival glass. I've tried ethyl acetate, toluene and acetone. Acetone seemed to work the best, but there's a few places that are stubborn, especially in the design.

This isn't color fading that you get from a shirt being old, and I only notice this with light color cotton t-shirts (light blue, tan, peach, light green) and this never happens with my dark color shirts or pants. At first I thought it was the shirt manufacturer's fault, but it is happening with a lot of different brands. There are light color spots (which seem like bleach spots) that appear on the shirts in big patches and I seem to notice it after I have washed the shirts, but I always use color safe bleach (if any). I make sure and wash like colors together, but if by any chance I happened to get some of the color to fade from one shirt onto another is there any way to restore my light color shirt back to the way it was? These aren't stains like blood, wine, or any kind of liquid stains, and I don't think they are sweat spots. They look like bleach spots or color fading spots. I know there are plenty of stain removers out there, but is there any kind of color restorer? Please help.

Help! We are clean people and keep a clean kitchen; however, I discovered we have roaches living in our dishwasher...at least that is the only place I have seen them. Any suggestions?

I am extremely germ-phobic and the thought of germy shoes on my beautifully clean off-white carpets makes me ill. I don't know why people don't automatically remove their shoes once they've stepped into my home. None of us have our shoes on, the carpets are off-white, and you can clearly see the shoes lined up by the front door. Would it be rude to ask people to remove their dirty shoes or is there another subtle hint I can drop without offending anyone?

My husband is in love with his deep fryer, however I find that I have ugly grease marks everywhere in the kitchen. Any good idea's on how to remove these without straching the cabinets up or destroying the paint?

Alternatively, is it indeed a stain or did the sodium chloride remove the color from my rug? The rug is 100% wool. It's a Chinese oriental.
