If its bleeding to much for a band-aid, you should go for stitches.

You can try bleach but I doubt it will work without ruining the shirt....you may not be able to do anything about it because they have already been through the dryer I am assuming, so the stains will be set. RIT makes a color removal that you put in the washer, you can find it at any craft store or walmart usually. If all else fails you could dye the shirt red with fabric dye....I realize you wont have a white dress shirt anymore....but you will have a cute red dress shirt :) good luck!

I wash all reds in hot water and rinse in cold before I wear them for the first time if washable if its not than take it to the dry cleaner and ask them. But I've also heard Hairspray can work as a temporary fix. Worth a shot.

the only thing i can think of is to take it to the dry cleaners, they might have some good suggestions, they might even be able to clean it for you so that it doesn't bleed, i've had black shirts that bled and after washing them a few times they didn't anymore, so maybe the dry cleaners can do the same for your coat

I would return it and show the store the shirt that was ruined. I do not believe anything will stop the bleeding through of your coat. Sorry.

I would take it to the dry cleaners. They might have something they can spray on to coat it so the color will no longer bleed.

BTW I'm sorry but it took every bit of strength I had in me to keep from saying put a bandage on it lol

red is one of the colors that always bleed on your clothes. I don't think anything really ever stops it. You may concider returning it.

Take it to the cleaners and explain the problem, to see if they can do anything about it.
