How do you stick to it and what does it consist of, e.g. hoover every tuesday and thursday...Iron on Thursday night.

What have you found that works for you?

Are there any ready made schedules available anywhere so I can be sure I dont miss something out?

Thanks

I have a Gap coat that is 65% wool, 30% nylon, and 5% other fibers (whatever that means). Should I risk putting it in the washing machine? I need it for a funeral service this evening.

have any suggestions of what I should do in the meantime? I don't think I'll be able to sleep. I'm going to thoroughly vacuum my mattress (I don't have a boxspring) and floor, and my bed frame. My landlady says it'll take up to 4 fumigations, once a week, to get rid of them. Also, she says to wash all my bedding in hot water and store any clothing that will be on/near the floor, like stuff in my laundry basket, in plastic garbage bags so they can't get in. Are the clothes hanging in my closet safe? My shoes? Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

The thing is I had never had this particular problem in my home. I do keep an immaculate house, because me and my child suffer allerigic reactions to varios stuff ( including dust ). We were blessed with house guests last week, and after they left I detected some moth in a closet. I do know about moth balls and am terribly allergic to the smell. I also went out and bought out the entire store of seadar bars. However, I am still seeing moth. So, if you can share any advice which might help me to deal with this problem once and for all, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you.

Right now the washing machine is not working, and I am wondering if I can wash my black leotard and pink tights in the sink. Do I have to wash it in a certain way?

I'm sick of my home constantly being a mess. It's clean and hygienic, just untidy.

I always have unfolded clothes on the floor, piles of dishes to wash. Magazines and letters all over the floor etc.

I work a LONG day. I get up at 5.30 to get into work at 7am. I get home at 5.30pm and all I want to go is sit down and have something simple to eat. It's so hard to motivate myself when I'm so tired out.

Any tips?

I bought a blanket in Mexico many years ago. It looks/feels great, but I think its due to be cleaned. There are no cleaning instructions on it - obviously. So how should I go about cleaning it?

Dryclean? Gentle cycle? what?

I bought this pink night gown & bought some new underwear. The undies were white & purple. Some how after about a month these items have started to look a little dingy, they could have gotten washed accidently with dark colors. So my question is can I dye these items black or red? If so, what kind of dye do I use, how much do I use & what is the best way to do this. I have never done this before. Also approx. how much does the dye cost and where can I get it? Thanks for your time.

I am often asked, " Are you using 'MY' towels?" As I see it, the things are in a cabinet that is in a bathroom I pay the rent on! I didn't know there was a difference between the towels in the cabinet! Have I missed something here?
