You hold the towel out long ways and take each corner and fold it hamburger style. Then you will have to fold it hot dog style. After that, you just fold it hamburger style one more time and there's your perfectly folded towel or you could fold the towel hot dog style and then kinda role it up only put it in a loose role. You could also make a triangle with the towel. Hope that was of some help! :)

I am a FANATIC about how my towels are folded. I fold them in half, then in half again, then a tri fold across the middle, I think like Cheryl's. I once fussed and fumed over my towels being folded a way I didn't like and actually took them all apart and re-did them. Only later did I think how stupid I was, but even today, I have to have them folded this way or I get all itchy. Why? No clue! But I love looking at them stacked in the linen closet all neat and orderly, and can immediately pick out one that doesn't belong or that someone re-did. Must be OCD, but whatever, the kids are happy I fold the towels, one less thing they have to do or worry about.

I fold mine in thirds across the width. (this makes them ready to hang on the towel bar) Then in quarters or thirds the long way to fit on the shelf.

I fold them in half across the towel, then fold in half again across. Then fold in thirds across.

Like some others here I fold them lengthwise into thirds, then into thirds again to end up with a neat little bundle. I do this with my sheets and pillow cases too.

FOLD THEM IN HALF AND THEN ROLL THEM UP. THIS ENABLES MORE TOWELS TO FIT IN AN AREA AND LOOKS NICER.

GOOD LUCK...

fold them in half. then in half again the same way. then in thirds.
I hate when my kids fold them in half then in half again and then in half again.
I think I might try that rolled idea
