Someone smeared gum on my car!!!!!!!????

They smeared it on my window!! How do I get it out!!? I'm so mad, I want to hurt someone really bad!!

OOOOOOOH. That would piss me off. You just don't mess with another person's vehicle.

What I would do first, is bank up a lot of towels or something underneath the mess so that nothing gets on the paint job as it drips down.

It will need to be an oil based product. The thing I would try first is peanut butter. It won't drip and run, making it a good candidate, and it is known to break up gum in hair...may work on glass. Just glop it on and try to smear it into the gum, mixing them together and scraping from the outside to the center with a plastic spatula that you can toss afterwards. Have plenty of paper towels on hand to collect the gunk. If it starts to work at all, you should be able to finish the job and remove all the gum. It may take several glops of peanut butter, depending on how much gum there is to dissolve. When you are sure the gum is gone, you can get any residue of the peanut butter off with windex or other glass cleaner.

If this doesn't work, or if you can't be around peanuts, try shortening or oil.

If that doesn't work, try a product called Goo Gone, it is an oily citrus based cleaner. I know it will work...the reason I mention peanut butter and cooking fats first is that Goo Gone may be hard to come by and would be an extra expense

Simple and easy actually - get some ice spray or freeze the gum with ice cubes until it gets rock hard, then use the ice scraper (window scraper) to carefully scrape it off without scratching the window!

If you don't wanna do that i recommend you to get some goo gone in the store but that will be a nasty and sticky mess until the gum is fully removed!
