I bought this pink night gown & bought some new underwear. The undies were white & purple. Some how after about a month these items have started to look a little dingy, they could have gotten washed accidently with dark colors. So my question is can I dye these items black or red? If so, what kind of dye do I use, how much do I use & what is the best way to do this. I have never done this before. Also approx. how much does the dye cost and where can I get it? Thanks for your time.

It depends on the fabric, if its anything but 100 percent cotton then no....

Redyeing would be possible IF you hadn't worn the products. Natural body oils and other stails the fabric leave behind shadow stains that even the best washing can't eliminate but actually accentuates (learned from experience...yuck, gross!!). Fabrics fade so a color loss can only be slowed, not stopped. You can try using an oxygenated bleach......Chlorox for colors.....OxyClean........

Rit dyes have a color remover that might work or could completely bleach your clothing (ooops).
