How to clean a woven wool blanket?

I bought a blanket in Mexico many years ago. It looks/feels great, but I think its due to be cleaned. There are no cleaning instructions on it - obviously. So how should I go about cleaning it?

Dryclean? Gentle cycle? what?

Woven wool should always be dry cleaned, or suffer the consequences.

It should be alright in a wool cycle using a wool detergent like Persil for wools.
