I have a Corning range top. I spray EZoff oven cleaner (Yellow can) all over the top, then turn all the burners on high until I see vapor begin to rise. Then immediately turn off the burners, and let sit until cool. All splatters, etc. wipe off easily with paper towels. I go back over the top with 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar to remove any trace of the cleaner.
This has worked beautifully for me, for 19 years.

Steps Mix together the following ingredients: Rubbing alcohol Vinegar Hydrogen peroxide Shake well and pour a small amount on the stain. Let it sit for a while. Dry it with a washcloth. First take a very hot wet cloth, and lay it over the marks for a few minutes, just to soften the baked on food a little. Now take a NEW single edged razor blade and gently scrape off the mark. This will work like a charm. If the marks are not too badly baked on,take an SOS pad (not Brillo)and wet it until it is soaked through.Gently rub the SOS pad on the cook top. This will not scratch if the pad is wet enough.I have a cleaning business(20 years) and come across this problem numerous times. It works.

There's a special non-abrasive cleaner by a company called CookTop. Works like a charm. You put it on with a damp cloth, rub out the marks and buff it with a soft dry cloth.
Gotta love those glass cook tops.

Try Soft Scrub cleanser and Magic Eraser. You can also use a plastic scraper to get burnt crumbs off--I got a free one as a party favor from a Pampered Chef party, but you can probably buy them at kitchen gadget stores. It's the same tool they sell to clean the surfaces of non-stick cookware.

I use a scotch bright scrubber and soft scrub. There are cleaners for this cook top, but not any better than soft scrub.
