I just use tide liquid with a touch of Borax in warm water. That combination cuts most everything I have come in contact with. I use Gillette Red Zone deodorant, it is the first kind I have used that prevents the odor I used to get with stress. Weird, I almost never stink from hard work but something stressful and I get skunky armpits. I have never seen white spots on my dark shirts after washing in the combination I mentioned and using the Red Zone.
Hope that works for you....

sometimes you do have to prescribe and or soak. I'm pretty good at getting stains out. My favorite laundry products are zout (gel is better than spray), oxy clean ,and ammonia. When I'm not sure about a stain i start with cold water soak. if that doesn't work or get it all i move to hot water. in your case
try presoaking with oxy clean, scrub a little and it should come out. Woolite might be too mild and that's why it didn't get stains out but, it dose have it's place. turn your black clothes inside out , wash on cold, maybe use detergent meant for dark clothes.

I wash all my black clothing in COLD water..and use only Woolite Dark on them. Try pre-treating before washing...just don't let the detergent dry on the fabric. Also, you could also add a color safe bleach (such as Clorox 2) to the wash.

The white is probably oil. If you are washing in cold water, you are not removing the oil (melting and dissolving it). I would recommend using a good pretreater designed to remove oil stains and then washing the clothes.

wash black clotes in cold water by thmselves.
try using a laundry stain removal stick.
you can put that on and put your clothes in washer and
wait 7 days if you have to until you wash the item.

irishbarfight got it, alternative color safe bleach works very well for dark colors. The 'bleach' word scared me, but it works very well for me.
