For example, we keep a few blankets in the living room and only use them when watching movies, tv, etc. (not used for bedding). Thanks!

I haven't seen it in stock in any stores near me here. I wanted to know if it is available as an import anywhere or do you have to order it from the UK?

Obviously I don't want it in my closet, and the laundry room is in the basement. I don't want visitors checking out my laundry in the bathroom, so where can I keep it?

I got a little problem with my favourite white sweater. 2 weeks ago I spilled red wine on it and forgot to clean it out right away. I tried to wash it twice already and even by using a vinegar based bleaching agent I can’t get the stains out. So do any of you have some good tips on how to remove stubborn wine stains. I prefer to have some home made remedies then just products. However all help Is welcome. Best answer will get 10 points.

I just bought a couch/love seat fromAmerican TV. After having it for 24 hours I have decided it is way too big. Is it frowned upon to return it and buy different set?

On the (numerous) occasions I've run out of laundry detergent mid-loads and need some in a pinch, I've always been concerned about what to use or not use instead. I was considering baking soda, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, dish soap (like Dawn, etc).

Any suggestions of what does and does not work?

I'm looking for a recommendation for the best type of appliance-- electric broom, sweeper, vacuum-- to pick up sand off a ceramic tile floor. A regular broom (I've tried several styles) leaves a lot behind in the grooves of the grout, so I think I need some kind of vacuum. My regular upright vacuum works pretty good, but it's too big and bulky. So hopefully you can recommend something more lightweight.

Thanks

Okay, so I wear mostly black clothing. When I wash, I wash them in cold water. I turn them all inside out. I don't do anything special when I put them in the dryer. Please Help Me! I don't want my black clothes to fade as quickly as they do.

P.S. - I heard that putting white wine vinegar in the washing machine with the clothes helps. I haven't tried it. Doesn't it stink up the clothes?
