Obviously I don't want it in my closet, and the laundry room is in the basement. I don't want visitors checking out my laundry in the bathroom, so where can I keep it?

I keep a laundry hamper in the bathroom linen closet it has a lid and no one see it.. I take the whole thing downstairs and sort my laundry into a laundry sorter and bring the hamper back upstairs with me.... It's very handy ! If you don't have a big enough linen closet then keep your hamper in your bedroom in a corner or hidden in your closet.. Good luck

Our laundry room is in the basement. I toss the dirty stuff to the bottom of the stairs, and when I go down later, I put the stuff in the hampers in the laundry room.

My daughter's laundry is in the middle of her room.....she has a laundry basket disguised as a small table. It is a deep basket bottom and a round table top cover. You can buy things like this at IKEA. I have to go take a shower now after reading half of your responses.....eeeeewwww dirty...people. Hygene is apparently not an issue for some!!!!!!!!

You can get a nice laundry hamper with a lid that no one will even see what is inside. An alternative is to place your clothes directly into the washing machine. I don't think your friends are going to be interested in going through your washing!

I'd recommend a pair of sun glasses w/UVA ray protection. I prefer Ray Ban's but you can get other types at the mall.
