I just bought a couch/love seat fromAmerican TV. After having it for 24 hours I have decided it is way too big. Is it frowned upon to return it and buy different set?

Call the company tomorrow and ask them what their return policy is. Next time measure the area first so the sales person can help you get the right size for your home.

No not really... it is not rude at all.
After all, you are only going to exchange for another set. You may have to pay for restocking or shipping and pick up.
It happens all the time. In the showroom you see, love it and buy it because of the way they have decorated it. Nothing wrong with that. But when you bring it home it is not the same because of the room dimensions. You are not at fault. Just ask. You will be glad you did.

How long have you had the sofa? If it hasn't been longer than the store policy allows there is absolutely no reason not to return it. Furniture is one of the hardest things to buy because you can't try it on! Next time maybe bring a tape measurer with you and check the measurements before you buy

You need to return the items and get something that you are happy with. Call the store and check out there policy on returns and if they will come to get it. Good Luck!!!

You may have to pay a 'restocking fee" up to 20% of the purchase price, if they let you return it at all. all you can do is call and find out...if you are willing to buy a new set from them then they may wave the restock fee...good luck
