For example, we keep a few blankets in the living room and only use them when watching movies, tv, etc. (not used for bedding). Thanks!

I guess you will be watching TV almost every day. So, if you are using those blankets everyday, you should wash those for once in 20 days minimum. If you have kids, they will jump or put their feet up on the couch/sofa like that.

I wash our blankets once in 15 to 20 days, whether from beds or the blankets that are used for watching TV. I have two kids who jump, lay down, put their feet up on the sofa.

Well, I wash mine about once a month.. Especially, if the dog has gotten it off the sofa while we are sleeping... She's sneaky like that... Or if we are having company... I have a homemade afgan and a regular blanket in white.... I wash it on gentle with some baking soda in the wash water... Good luck..

I wash all of mine every four to six weeks a good wash in hot water. And then if its nice and fresh outside ill hang them out and spray them down with febreeze.

Just wash them every month.Unless you know someone has soiled it.Hope this helps.
