2x a week.

I have a 1 1/2 bathroom house and I give the toilets a once over everyday with antibacterial wipes in the morning.... Once a week I give the toilets a good once over with cleanser. However, I would say for 2 people/ 2.5 bath townhouse it should be done about once a week... More if you have company.

Sometimes if you'd just keep the 2 toilets not being used flushed every other day and put a little Clorox in them once a week or every 2 weeks, they should stay clean.

If the toilet is used daily, then clean at least once a week. I check the bottom of the seat regularly. Sometimes just a quick wipe with toilet paper keeps it looking good until cleaning time.

If you don't flush the toilet ever so often, it gets a ring in it from water deposits.

I was a housekeeper for two people in a home just like yours. The toilet should be cleaned once a week. Sometimes sitting water can leave marks or cause problems with the appearance of a toilet. Cleaning it once a week will keep the water ring from forming and sticking to the side of the bowl. (which can become a real pain when trying to remove it after a month of not cleaning it)

My home has two bathrooms...the guest bathroom I clean once a week to keep it fresh, and daily if it's in current use.

My main bathroom I clean every single day. I clean with a 'green' solution of 2 cups clear water,1/4 cup white vinegar, and three drops of lemon juice concentrate for surfaces. Believe it or not antibacterial dish washing detergent works great in the tub/shower. The inside of the toilet bowl gets a splash of Clorox.

use disposable towling..never sponges. A cleaning cloth is okay but it must be used once only and washed before next use.

First all rugs are taken out to air outside after a quick pass with the vacuum....and washed at least once a week. Floor is swept clean next. Toilet bowl is cleaned first to avoid spreading those nasty germs...lid up and Chlorox gets splashed in....round and round with a toilet bowl brush then it sits while the rest of the room is getting cleaned. In the meantime the entire toilet's outside gets cleaned with my green solution, the seat and underneath last. Fill tub with enough hot water to cover...add detergent. I use the Mr. Clean's magic bathroom wand....wonderful. Tub and shower surround gets washed and rinsed. Then the sink inside and out gets cleaned with my 'green solution', including the mirror.
Then the outside of the tub gets cleaned with the same stuff.
Fold & hang towels or replace when needed with fresh ones.
Give the toilet a flush with the brush still in it...hold onto it. Remove brush and store properly. Then the floor gets mopped. When dry the rugs are returned...

Takes me no more than 30 minutes but it's worth it considering what you do in the bathroom...mine are always spotless, along with my kitchen and the members of my family are rarely ill....I believe because I'm so picky about my bathroom & kitchen cleanliness...

Well, I suppose that depends on ones own hygiene. Myself personally, I have a bathroom phobia so my bathrooms are wiped down daily with a disinfectant spray, like Clorox Anywhere spray and then I do a deep cleaning every week, toilets bleached..i even clean down by the bolts, counters washed, mirrors, floors, etc. Might sound a bit much to most people but I live with my husband and 3 sons and as most people know...Boys don't aim very well.

I live in a one bathroom house with 4 total people and we clean the house twice a month. The toilets need to be cleaned about that often. Sometimes, if people were home more time during that timespan, we will clean it more often but for us 2 times a month works and isn't skeevy or anything.

I clean the seat and rim weekly, the whole thing inside and out every other week. A clorox toilet disk in the tank does wonders.

Once a week is fine, but, you may alos want to get those tablet things that you put in the toilet tank so that whenever you flush, it helps to keep it clean until you do your actual cleaning.

If they use only 1 of the bath, it should be cleaned at least every other day.
