Yes, you can. Put them inside one of those delicate item laundry bags or a pillowcase will work if you don't have the bags. Cold water wash only and then let them air dry.
They will only shrink if you wash them in hot water and/or dry them in the dryer.
They will dry more thoroughly if you stuff them with a hand towel to help absorb some of the water from the inside, or paper towels will work also.
If they have a removable insole take those out before putting them in the wash.

What are those sneakers made of? If it's leather I wouldn't do it, they will come out looking all scuffed because the polish on them has been worn off. For leather you should buy a cleaning product (like Tana), spray and scrub as per directions on the can and when dry spray with water repellent. If the sneakers are canvas, etc then washing them will be just fine. Don't dry in the dryer though.

My daughter has shocks the are gray on outside some kind of mesh material black inside and and black soles I have washed them at least 10 times and get this I do it with a load of white towels and bleach it kills all the germs that make them stinky also I do it in hot water and I do it 2 times each time I do all the way thru the wash cycle they did not fade they did not do anything except clean them and make them smell good I air dry them pull the shoe strings way apart and open them up as much as possible to dry for at least 2 days in dryer room. Do not where them with slightest bit of wet will stink really bad if wet! Good luck I have done this to all shoes we have ever had most survived the secret is fill wash up with towels and laundry soap and bleach and then throw shoes in so you dont hit the shoes with pure bleach. It will be fine!

No problem at all.
Just run wash cycle with cold water.
I put them in laundry bags.
I also run the spin cycle so that the choes can dry faster.
Just to let you know i'm having a top loading machine. If you're having a side loading unit, then, my answer might not be correct.

Yep. Just pull them open to dry. You might put shoe trees in them to keep shrinking and curling to a minimum.
Even then a few walks in them and they'll straighten out.
Excessive washing though will make them elf shoes after a while.

I'd say yes you can. Best in cold or maybe warm water-try cold. It's best if you can let them air dry in your home. Or, on low temp in the dryer for about 45 min. Take care.

Yes, in cold water. But if your feet start swelling, it means that you did not get all the soap out of them. This happened to me. I had to throw them away. Try washing them without soap the first time and see if they will come out clean.

yup. just put it in a fishnet laundry bag so as not to damage it too much. and put mild soap because any residue in the shoes will leave brownish discoloration on the fabric.

I believe it is safer to wash them in the dishwasher. It's much more gentle on your shoes, and doesn't make them fade or look worn. The spin cycle can be tough on shoes. Speaking from experience of course.
