When my monthly visitor came, my bed sheets were ruined!

Then I procrastinated and now the stain is old and still there, but the problem is that the sheets are pink, so a lot of the blood stain removing tips on yahoo answers don't really help me because they only apply to lighter colours.

I'm considering peroxide, but I don't really know if I should risk it because they could eat through/bleach/stain (since some one said peroxide left a green stain) my new Hello Kitty sheets. If peroxide ruins my sheet, I'd kill myself because the stain is right in the middle of the sheet. Ugh.

I considered just soaking the sheet in just cold water over night, but when I did that to an old blood stain on my underwear, the blood mixed with the water and stained my entire underwear a rusty color. Disgusting! The stain didn't even come out all the way! >:U

Any SAFE ways to remove old blood stains from pink fabric?

As the soap (either bathing or washing) wears out, it breaks and mostly it is wasted. So, how to avoid wastage?

The odor smells like mildew or a "sour" smell. I have tried washing the blanket in detergent and baking soda but that doesn't work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I washed my bed comforter at the laundromat. After removing it from a "front load" machine, I noticed a VERY bad odor coming from half of my comforter. I then put it in the dryer, thinking that the ODOR was only foul water and that the smell would come out.

I then put the comforter in the dryer, with a couple of dryer sheets...... but that didn't help either, after removing it from the dryer.

What do you think I should do to get that ODOR out?

Only my right eye is runny and the right side of my nose. This has been happening for like 2/3 days now. I think it may be some type of allergie, but I want this to go away by Friday. What should I use. I only have Tylenol cold at home which will help with the symtoms (even though I don't have a cold). I'd rather not use that though, any other suggestions?

recently, I bought a 100 gallon poly tank at a auction for 20 bucks. I noticed that there was a white chemical or something in it. So I was wondering what chemicals and steps i could use to clean it up so it would be safe enough to put water in for my garden???

My daughter was melting candle wax from jars that were too small to use, and using the wax to make more candles. When she took one of the jars out of the hot water she dropped it and splashed hot candle wax on her shirt. She didn't get to it right away, now it is dried on. How can I get it out?

I clean my shower EVERYTIME I shower, but my best friend DOESNT!! I tell her that its really gross to let build-up occur on your shower walls, but she says that its fine. We both decided that we should come on yahoo answers and ask people on here to see which one of us would have the most votes. I bet her that fungus and other nasty things can occur from build-up of your shower walls, and she bet me that it cant. We would like to know the opinions of the yahoo answerers. Thanks!

Oh! And should you clean your shower each and EVERY time you take one, or is it okay to skip a few days in cleaning it?

I have a large bandanna that I use for ink painting (to dry the brushes after rinsing them). I would like to toss it in the laundry so I can reuse it.

NOTE: The ink I use is NOT like pen ink; it's much more watery, and I'm pretty sure it will come out. (I accidentally got some ink on one of my teacher's placemats last fall. All she had to do was put it in the washing machine, and it came out like new.)

However, I'm concerned that the ink might wash into other clothes and stain them while in the machine.
If it helps to know: the ink is made of charcoal ash (from wood) and water.

Thanks in advance.

After 12 years our old machine is almost on its last leg. We are thinking about getting a new one but can't decide which one. We were lending towards a Kenmore but which model. We know that we want a top loader not a front loader. Any one with a good one let me know. Or which one not to buy. Thanks

Ok, im a total clean freak! I like my house clean all the time. My boyfriend on the outhand never cleans and it doesnt bother him if the house is just totally trashed.
I try getting him to help me. I ask him to do stuff, and he'll do the one task (poorly) and then stop. I'll be scrubbing the house, and he'll just sit and watch me and play his video game... What should I do to get him off his lazy butt? Its beginning to drive me insane. I do all his laundry. If I dont, then he will wear dirty clothes (GROSS!) every dish could be dirty and he still wouldnt do dishes. Its really becoming a pain for me!

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
