Comet will get it off along with some elbow grease from your part! A new thing I have found that is much easier though is Easy-Off for self-cleaning ovens. It can be sprayed on there (I know it is the top, it is OK to spray on a lot of things including dishes with burnt on grease) and it will soften it up and it will come right off!

Hope this helps!

The best stuff in the world is called Greased lightening. You can get at Walmart and Walgreens and most places like that. You won't even have to scrub. It is awsome. Just spray on and leave for about 5 mins then just wipe clean. I swear by this stuff. I even use it on difficult stains on clothes.

Try Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean. It's the only thing that worked for me.

OK, so this is kinda tongue-in-cheek here...

Just go buy a new one... that's what my first wife did... so I went and got a second wife and tossed the first one.

I hate to admit it though, it worked.
