My daughter was melting candle wax from jars that were too small to use, and using the wax to make more candles. When she took one of the jars out of the hot water she dropped it and splashed hot candle wax on her shirt. She didn't get to it right away, now it is dried on. How can I get it out?

It is good that it dried! Pop the shirt in the freezer and try to pop it off. If that does not work take a stack of paper towels and place over the wax and get the iron on high and run over it....it will soak the wax up into the paper towels!

Good Luck and have a great day :)

Wrap an ice pack in a towel. When the wax is frozen, pop it off the fabric. For the remaining stain on the shirt, wash in hot water.

Double layer of paper towel. Place one layer on top and one on underside. Iron on a medium heat setting and check item until all wax is removed. After shirt cools, put small amount of detergent, pre-treater or, Dawn and rub with some warm water to rid of any excess oil left behind. Wash then as normal!

Get a newspaper place it over the wax then pass the iron over it once you pass it over (until wax is completely off) the wax is no longer on your clothes now its on the newspaper!!
