Can't be cannabis because I'm a square and don't use it - also very clean, so I doubt it's sweat. Live on the second floor or a house - smell nowhere else in house. Any ideas? Help!

We have been turning it every 2 weeks like they told us except last week we were away for 5 days and when we turned it over there was mold on the outside cover, yuk. The mattress looks ok, but it smells funny. We can't afford to throw it out.

I have two new pair of Gary Player slacks - comfortable trousers, which are tagged 'machine was warm, tumble dry medium, warm iron when needed'. Previous pairs of this brand shrank slightly with repeated washings and dryings, even though I followed the label directions

I would like these slacks to last longer, hence the question - can 100% cotton be dry cleaned, or will there be problems by exposing it to a dry cleaning colution?

Thanks,
Buffalo922

This question is for people who have owned or now own a kirby vacuum. My mom had one when I was a kid and she loved it.

Kirby Vacuums, are they worth the money? Should I keep it or return it? I got it for a huge discount ($2k vac for $1300) Afraid hubby is gonna freak out. Do I bite the bullet and tell him I bought it and I need it or just return it quietly and hope he doesn't notice?

For the record, it's their new one that is a vac, shampooer, leaf blower, air compressor, plunger, sander, etc. It really would cost me much more to buy everything separately... and no, we actually have no carpet (with the exception of rugs), but this works on hardwoods and tile too.

How far can mold penetrate into drywall before it needs to be replaced? I am cleaning out after an evicted tenant - there was no problem with mold just 6 months ago, but now there is mold that has penetrated the one layer of paint that was put over brand new drywall in the laundry room. It is quite extensive in that it has grown at least three feet up the wall in some areas, and behind the laundry room sink under the drain. So far I have sprayed Microban just so I can walk in there without gagging. Will a followup with bleach, then TSP, then a fresh coat of paint seal this up and make it legal, safe, and habitable once again? These tenants were living like pigs - piling up months and months worth of garbage and dirty clothes against the wall, which mice then got into. Gotta love it.

I recieved a very cool top (made from cotton) which I wanted, however it was 2 sizes too large and can't return it.

Are there any ways that allow me to make it smaller (such as shrinking/ sowing) whilst still keeping it looking good?

Somehow I stupidly shoved a pen into the pocket of my favorite kakhi pants, and it bled ink all over the pocket and seam. I used Spray&Wash and washed it twice with no success. I have NOT run it through the dryer though...just in case the heat might set it. Any suggestions besides buying a new pair of pants and not putting pens in my pockets?

The walls throughout my house are painted in white, flat paint - they're still this way from when the house was built. Over time, various scuff marks have accumulated all over the walls. I've found that most cleaners don't work well on flat paint, but I have heard that Mr. Clean's Magic Erasers work wonders. Any suggestions?

The dryer is electric. It runs, but something is the matter. It appears to be heating the clothing, yet the clothes remain damp for hours. Even after drying them for 6 hours, the clothes are still wet. And with the heat, the clothes tend to smell musty and unpleasant.

We cleaned out the lint filter and the hose parts. They were clogged up completely. But even after cleaning them, the dryer is still not heating the clothes right.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?
