Figured out how to remove window by pulling out metal tabs on side which catch channel balance and then removing window by tilting sideways. Looking for advice on how to remove channel balance, I know it must be something simply but I don't want to mess something up. I don't know if their spring loaded, etc.? Thanks for any help!

Last year we replaced our outside a/c unit with a Trane XR11 and this year we would like to replace the furnace. We have approx 1,500 sq ft house but
it seams the current furnace does not heat the bedrooms (far away rooms) well. We would like to stay with Trane. We have an old York furnace now. Which Trane unit would you reccomend? How do I tell what size unit I have now? Can I tell by the Model number? It says York Model P2CGD14N10501A 105,000 input btu.
Thanks, Don

Before we moved into our house we had our basement finished and added a full bath. We do not use this bath and despite all of this we sometimes discover food particles in it for some reason. We had our main line snaked out twice already. Our toilet bubbles on occasions when we flush it as well. Someone told me that our toilet might be connected to our sink disposer line or something. A plumber once told me that we might have to ad another vent for this particular toilet. Sometimes it really smells. Please advice what needs to be done and the approx cost. Thanx

I rent a house that has very low water pressure throughout the house, especially the upstairs taps. The main shutoff in the basement is wide open. Any suggestions or ideas?

I have a wood privacy fence surrounding my backyard and I would like to plant honeysuckle vines to cover the fence. I just wonder if anyone else has done this and what kind of luck they had with it.

Based upon some of your suggestions I've first adjusted the senitivity, but the door continued to only move six inches. I then repeatedly pressed the remote button and got the door to move downward 6 inches at a time until it reached about 12 inches from closing. I now can't get the door to close more or even open from this point. Next I may try to loosen one of the rails to see if the door will move more freely, then see what happens.

I found a foreclosed home I'd like to purchase. The home has about 3000 square feet plus a basement. To start, it needs new hard wood floors, paint in every room, new light fixtures in every room, and a new garage door. The kitchen also needs new cabinets and countertops. All three bathrooms also need to be updated. About how much?

A man in our street has a very messy garden with all you can imagine. Cars trucks boats ambulances those car hoists motorbikes and smashed up cars. I live in such a lovely area, its a shame about this house thats 2 doors away (my house is terraced) now he started to complain because a ball hit one of his smashed up cars by accident and he got an innocentyoung boy an asbo. Now he has cameras all over the place, and the other month I was over my friends house who lives in my street but round the corner and we were installing sky into his new telly, when it picked up his camera signal and we saw everything it was pointing at! and you can see my house! I feel so violated and he can see everything. I live on a row of 5 houses anhe lives on the end im in the middle, he just brought the house on the end so he ownes the 2 semis on our row and i think he has a camera pointing to his other house from the one he lives in. But its pointing at my house too! I didnt get to record the thing i picked
