for example - Clorox Counter Top cleaner comes in a spray bottle, when it is near empty, it no longer sprays out the product.

There is still a bit of product left; what can I do? waste not, want not.

Hi, I am SIMPLY trying to replace the Fill Vulve for my toilet bowl. The instruction told me to lock nut hand tighten only. So, I did.....now I did not realize there was a washer must be installed. Well, the lock nut that was so loose now is stuck and can not unscrew it. All it is is the plastic nut. I have been fighting it for 2 and half hrs trying to unscrew it, even using a tool, the nut is all scraped off, which is OK, since I have an older still like new one I can replace once the nut is removed. I just can not freakin unscrew it (the nut) that was simply hand tightned it. It got wet, does it has anything to do with it? I used W40, every thing I can think of...............

I spend more time re-mounting the chain than I do actually using the thing, it's discouraging. It's only the 2nd season, and it's been sharpened once. I'll go have it serviced, but I'm wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong with tension adjustment, or is it just a fact of life? Maybe it's something simple. Any other chainsaw wielding know-it-alls got some tips?

I'm looking into a career change, and right now my number one choice is going through an apprenticeship to be a carpenter. Building houses has always fascinated me, and I think its something I would like to do, but the one thing that concerns me right now is how physically strenuous it is overall.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in great shape from playing sports and working out at the gym, and perfectly capable of working hard. I prefer a job where I can be active. I'm even ok if there is an very exhausting day once in a while. I'm just concerned about the possibility that maybe 90% of my job might turn out to be packing heavy. back straining, stuff around all day long.

Perhaps if you are a carpenter yourself, you can tell me the things you like most, and the things you like least.

Thanks.

Which ones would be better in terms of cooling capacity? I have heard that portable air conditioners are nosier. It seems that in my area, casement air conditioners are only 7000 btu while portable air conditioners are about 9000btu. Is btu the only gauge for air conditioner coolness?

I am paying a fortune in electricity bills at the moment. Around £10 a day. May not sound like a lot, but this is costing me £300 a month. Already reduced all my electric usage to a min. Why is it when I was living in my own house and paying monthly, I had far more devices active and was only paying £60 a month. Living in this rented electric metre flat I am spending 4 times what I was when I was living in my own house and I had 2 servers there that were on all the time.

I think someone is ripping me off. Having a desktop and tv on for 5 hours downloading, hot water for a shower twice a week and the occasional lighting should not cost this much. When I had the house, the hot water was on all the time, two big servers on 24/7, lights on all evening and I was paying a lot less. Whats going on?

I know all about reducing electric usage. I know that solar power can give good electricity but dont have the money or the roof to buy that. Any way I can reduce bills?

I use 23 gauge pin nailer's on ocassion for nailing the intricate wood things like inkerbol and small pieces of material. But my 23g. Senco nailer only last me a year, and i don't even use it that often maybe twice a month.

I've seen others out there that are cheaper, Porter cable, Air Locker, Senco etc etc. Which have you had the most luck with and what did it cost?

I recently left my lawn mower running in my garage and it got me wondering. How long does one have to breath condensed carbon monoxide before death occures? Assuming you fll asleep in an enclosed garage with a car running, how long until it's too late? Does it take hours or minutes or what? No I'm not suicidal, just curious because my brother once fell asleep drunk in his car after he just parked it in the garage. My dad woke up and heard the car running and saved him. I have always been curious just how close to death he really was.

I'm starting a small weekend gardening business. Basically, I come to your place and prepare a bed for flowers or veggies or whatever. I use a troy built roto tiller and can bring fertilizer/lime/organic to mix in if needed.

I was thinking of charging $50/hr - does this seem fair? Or should I come up with a flat rate?

We are getting ready to get our home ready to sell and I know we need to replace the carpeting throughout the home. The builders cheaped up the carpet and it's already worn through and ripping in some areas (the home was built in 2003). My husband and I both have less than perfect credit (my score is highest, right around 580) and we don't have the cash. What are my options? Would it be best to try to sell the home with the ratty carpet and just include new carpet in the contract to the buyers? What would you do? Thanks in advance!

We are getting ready to start getting our home ready to sell, and one of the problems is the doorbell. We had the house built for us while my husband and I were deployed to Iraq, so the builders cut corners everywhere they could knowing we weren't there to see. Well the doorbell hasn't worked since we moved in. They came by once to fix it, said they would be back to fix it, and never came back. The warranty is no good anymore and I want to fix the doorbell. Any suggestions? P.S. DETAILED instructions please! :) Thanks in advance!
