for example - Clorox Counter Top cleaner comes in a spray bottle, when it is near empty, it no longer sprays out the product.

There is still a bit of product left; what can I do? waste not, want not.

Three suggestions:

Add the remainder to the next bottle you purchase.

Keep the spray bottle and buy refills to fill up the old bottle so you can use the leftover.

Buy plain spray bottles and label them according to what cleaner is in them and pour your excess from the cleaner bottle into it. Do this enough times and you'll have enough built up to be able to use the back up bottle.

No offence but, DONT BE SO CHEAP! LOL! If it no longer sprays out, throw it out. For safety reasons, I wouldn't cut it open as it most likely says DO NOT PUNCTURE.... If you are still not sure what to do, phone the company who makes it and ask them. The phone number might be on the can or you can get it online at their website.

I add it to the next bottle of the the same product. I'm pretty brand loyal and always buy the same stuff.

If it is a metal can, turn it upside down, and use a old time bottle opener to punch a hole in it. Do it slowly, and watch your eyes.
