The counter is I believe from Ikea but the don't offer a back splash

Buy another butcher block the same length, rip it down 4" and attach it to counter top......

I think butcher block is made of hickory. Check w/ stores that sell cupboards. Perhaps you could just purchase some and make one yourself. However, I've seen antique looking tiles matched up with BB counters for a French country flare. Very cute. Check, Lowe's and Home Depot.

Home Depot will be able to order one for you. Or you can make one either out of wood or Formica. Of course butcher block back splashes are usually solid wood but it's your counter.
