No you don't want to nail it. Start at the wall and use 1/4" spacers to keep it consistent distance from the wall. It may move a bit until you get several rows down just keep it tight to the spacers. You can stand on it to keep it in place until you get more down. This is a floating floor and the entire floor expands and contracts as one. If you nail or glue it you could get buckles. Stagger the joints so they are more than 6" from row to row. Maintain 1/4" gap on all sides for expansion.

Most flooring that snaps together is designed to be a floating floor. If you nail or glue it down, the wood will not be able to expand/contract and will buckle. This is also the reason for the 1/2" gap around the perimeter of the flooring.

No you do not need to use anything...this a floating floor and is designed so that you do not need to do anything to hold it in place..just be sure you use the spacers that came with it so you have the expansion gaps on the sides.

Neither...they SNAP together.
When cut to fit your room properly , they should fit snugly, thus, no need for glue or nail guns.
Happy home decorating!
