Doe enyone know how to start a potterton Prima F gas boiler, about 12 years old. She has gas going to the gas stove.

could be something as simple as a rollout switch has popped out due to windy march conditions and rusted burners
it might be that the pilot safety thermocouple has worn out and shut down the gas valve
or it could be the sensor on newer heaters sometimes can be cleaned up and all the connections need to be tight on the controls and clean
no corosion look for cracks in the heater and wind blowing in around the heater the flues might be needing to be cleaned and cause a safety switch to pop out
look for at least FIVE safety switchs on newer models and 2 or 3 on older ones make suer you have all the little red buttons pushed back in hope this helped

Use the instructions on the boiler to try to relight it. If thre pilot lights but doesn't stay on, then the thermo couple wants replacing which is a job for a plumber. About £40

If there is no pilot light on the boiler then it is probably the Thermo couple. Get a plumber to replace it
