I have noticed utility companies often do this when the turn the gas main back on after having it off for some reason. What is the reason for individually locking each customer's gas valve closed?

So a friend just had a partylite candle party and there wasn't much selection but I did take a book home to decide whether to order something. I just wondered if the candles are any good. Does the scent last? Am I better just buying the Yankee candles? I just don't want to waste money ordering something first off just by seeing it in a book and then waiting 2-3 weeks for it and then to end up being a waste cause the candles are no better than ones bought at a store.

I ordered a few packets of seeds for Scherazi Iran Smoking Tobacco, and a few other flowering tobacco plants (nicotiana).

I wanted them first for their extremely fragrant flowers, but now I am curious about how I could actually make a product from it? I dont smoke, but my hubby does (some) and his friends do. As gross as it sounds to me, I think Id be interested in trying to make some smoking tobacco just for the heck of it.

Anyone know how to do it? What is the process?

I havent been able to find good sources on the net.

Thanks!!!!

I live in New Mexico, and all of my other plants, trees, and shrubs have begun budding...but not my trumpet vine...This is the first spring I've lived in my current house, so I don't know when it's supposed to. Can anyone help me? The average daytime high lately has been about 65-75. I thought it would have budded by now

We used over'n out last year, is it the best or is there something else we could use for treating the whole yard? The over'n out was $20.00 a bag and we spread a few bags on about a half an acre. Is there any other way to treat this?

The ants art horrible, every time it rains, little piles come out from nowhere. My kids sometimes get into them and it just breaks my heart.

I dont mind spending the money, I just want to know what works.... Any ideas?

I have seen this product on a commercial roof and its reflective quality is brighter than a mirror and I believe it would leave you snow blind if you stareed at for a prolonged period. It is in the range of silver screen for projecters.

I need to know the names of top brands of sofas that are affordable. I don't mind paying for quality, but can't afford pricey designer stuff.

Also, is England a good brand?

Thanks!!! :)

I would like to move the fuse panel for a two family home I own from the basement to the hallway upstairs. I have a newer, 100 amp service panel which is located 8 feet from the meter socket. The proposed location will be 45 feet from the meter. 39 feet of the conduit will be inside the house. I am unsure of the wire guage needed to run between the meter and the fuse panel. I would like to have all the materials I need on hand before the power company cuts the power for me

This sounds really ridiculous, but as I was standing on a chair in my kitchen trying to reach for something on top of the cupboard, whilst holding a few things in the other hand, somehow I dropped everything into the sink and my cleaver managed to cut and pierce through the aluminum sink and theres a slight crack in it. Please, if anyone knows how I could fix this kindly let me know. Thank you so much.

My upright freezer quit cooling in the upper half, I feel the circulator fan has failed, or if this fan is controlled by a device turning it off during defrost that device has failed (in the off position) I plan on removing the fan and checking it to make sure it is good or bad, if good then I need to determine what has caused the fan to not run. The blades are not blocked.

I am making a 25-30 gallon container water garden with a couple goldfish. I would like to have a filter/fountain in it, but where it will be is 50' from the closest electrical outlet. A solar fountain is out of budget, so I would like to run an outdoor extension cord under the ground. Years ago, my Dad ran two 100' unprotected outdoor cords between two houses and left it there for about 5 years without problems. But my situation is a little different. It will be underground, and it will be running almost constantly. Is this feasible? If so, how can I protect the plug at the pump? Electrical tape?
Thanks!
