So a friend just had a partylite candle party and there wasn't much selection but I did take a book home to decide whether to order something. I just wondered if the candles are any good. Does the scent last? Am I better just buying the Yankee candles? I just don't want to waste money ordering something first off just by seeing it in a book and then waiting 2-3 weeks for it and then to end up being a waste cause the candles are no better than ones bought at a store.

If you dont have the answers to these questions after going to a show then the consultant did not do their job. Partylite is one of the best quality candles internationally. They find their pride in being the cleanest candles that even the White House and Birmingham Palace will only allow these candles within their premises. I have had several packs of these candles for over two years without using them and they have their same scent as they had when I received them. Yankee candles are not clean and burn carbon into the air... Your consultant SHOULD have told you all about the candles, their quality and how to care for them. You should have left with a desire to have these candles because they are high quality. I am a consultant myself... just started this year. And I can tell you that I wouldnt sell something unless it was high quality. Hope that this helps.

Partylite Candles

I am a PartyLite consultant. Our candles are made with oil, they burn warm not hot. You can stick your finger in the melted candle and it will not burn you. Our wicks are made with 100% cotton. Other candles on the market have lead in the wicks and formaldehyde in them. I have some candles over 10 years old and when I burn them the scent is still there. I tried Yankee jar candles and the scent didn't last and you had a big hole in the center. I burned other candles from retail stores and they didn't burn even and the smell didn't last. Our candles liquefy and they will burn evenly and all you have left is the little metal wick holder. The jar candles are food safe, so after your candle is gone you can use them for food. We are the #1 direct sales company in the world and PartyLite donates over 15 million dollars to Making Strides against Breast Cancer per year. Every month there is different scent that is 25% off. We have the best hostess/guest specials. So if you want to get some FREE stuff and live in Pinellas County, FL please feel free to give me a call so I can spoil you with a free shopping spree and decorating ideas. I bought some Partylite Candles from a co-worker years ago, and I *really* like them. They burn cooler than most candles, so they do not seem to last quite as long, but to me, they smelled quite a lot better than most of the ones that I'd gotten from a store. They also held their scent well in storage (I had to keep some of them packed for a while when I moved), so all in all, I think they're a good deal.

LOVE them!! They are the only candles I will buy. I used Yankee before partylite.
I found them a few years ago and was very impressed nothing burns like them. They actually burn away it turns to liquid and doesn't leave a film. I burn mostly Pillars now but really liked the votive and tea lights oh and they last a long time. You can smell them even when they are not burning definitely worth the money.

Oh,I personally love party light candles , when they burn down there is absolutly nothing left but the little tiny wick holder. They are a little more expensive than Yankee candles, but do have beautiful scents too.The scents last to the very end of the candle,I love the orange and the mulberry scented candles.

I also feel they are over priced. They do look pretty and smell great but they are going to do what any other candle would do, and that is burn away to nothing and make your home smell wonderful!!! So, if you can afford it then buy them, but if you are on a budget then you can go to your local store and buy them. Also our hobby store has candles and the have coupons sent through the mail with 1/2 off a single priced item so you can get something really nice for 1/2 the price.

If you are looking for a great candle at a great price, check out the website I have listed. I do not own any partylite canldes but I hear they are way overpriced. This website offers an all natural 100% soy candle which last like 50% longer than any of the others, it burns completely clean and holds more scent. You can't go wrong! They are very affordable. They want you to keep coming back and try to accomodate any request you can think of!!

the best scents and the longest burning candle on the market is Gold Canyon candles.
Partylite just does not last as long and to me the scent is not enough.
Gold Canyon is the most cost efficient, burns long, even and clean and the scent is just as nice at the end as at the begining.

I looked into a lot of different candles before trying these and these are the best!
PS: when oyu order the GC candles- it gets sent out right away so you get it in about a week- 5 days at the most for me- usually 3 or 4 though!

I've tried partylite and they are ok but a little expensive in my op. The same for Yankee, they burn ok but have a lot of soot and are way over priced. I myself prefer some of the smaller candlemakers, the prices are better and the customer service as well as the quality of the candle is better. Because they are smaller they care more about pleasing the consumer. Some of my favorites are candlesbyvictoria.com
and if you like soy give rosewoodcandle.com a try. Also sugar shack candles in Nebraska is good.
