Travertine is a natural stone product it comes from Spain, Italy and Turkey and Egypt. It is literally is cut out of the side of a mountain, then it is cut into tiles then honed fillled and polished.

It is a natural stone. It can come from Italy, Spain, and anywhere that limestone, travertine or marble is quarried.
The materials that form it either go to the travertine side or the marble side, depending on how long it has been forming.
There are travertine tiles, slabs and trim pieces. It is generally a very porous material and needs to be sealed.

What town or Mountain in Italy does Travertine come from. Who are the manurfactures there? I have about 3 tons as of August /02/2015. Of square thick heavy pieces & some long pieces, I just need to now where actualy it cmae from in that town. of Italy.

Its a rather pretty (almost marblelike stone), very durable and used with great frequency and skill by the Roman Empire from centuries back. Mostly comes from Italy.
