Was walking in Northern Ca. zone 7 by the creek in the park, found a low growing plant with a 2 tone leaf (plant has 3 roundish leaves) the leaves are about 3 to 4" diameter green with burgundy/brownish spots, center of the plants had a burgundy flower, when it opens it looks like a star magnolia. Does not have runners. Woody, shaded, damp area. This was a patch about 20' by 15' walked her before have never seen it. None of the plants were taller than 10". Leaves are smooth. The roots seem to be about 6" under ground, I could not dig up...

Was working fine, washed a bathroom carpet overnight. which caused the siren to alert during the spin cycle. siren was going off for 6hours. I belive that the weight of the wet carpet caused an unbalanced spin cycle. attmpted to rewash and no longer agitates. only hear a buzz. Please Help!

I want to get a chair that will be comfortable for reading. I want to place this upstairs in my bedroom so the chair can't be very big and heavy. I can't stand reading at my computer desk when I am reading for fun and I don't always want to read on my bed. What do you think I should do? I am kinda thinking about one of the glider rocker chairs but I am not sure.

Putting a handicap grap bar on the side of a vanity with it renforced by a 2x2 or 2x4 piece of wood on the inside of the vanity? THis is what my father n law wants to do for his dad whom weighs 220 lbs. and needs a lot of help off the toilet. They are trying to save money and not buy a higher toilet or put the grab bars to studs .

I live in Chicago, (4 distinct seasons), and I have a dog, but I would love to put some color in my front yard, and has a fragrance that people notice when they walk by. I LOVE the smell of magnolias, but our yard is small, and we rent, so we cant plant an entire tree in someone else's yard :( Please help!!!!!

I went to the bathroom and after flushing, the toilet filled again with water. But now, the toilet make the same sound as.. after you flushed and the water is back.. but it does that every 20 secs.
Also, the toilet handle is loose.
I opened the toilet, the water is there.. goes down by 1/4in and comes back to normal at the same pace of the noice.
What should I do to solve that temporary.

On a recent trip to Homedepot. I purchased some Sequoia Strawberries in a stapled plastic bag. I did not plant them immediately I waited a few days. When I did finally get to trying to plant the darn things I openned the package and found this rubber band jumbled up mess of dirt, roots and shrivled strands.Not like the nice plants they show on the package with leaves and stuff. What should I do return this clump to back to Homedepot or try to plant it and see if the stuff grows?

my bathroom is small but the walls have bad holes from removing wall paper. What can I do that will cost under 300.00. The previous own put wall paper up to cover the holes. What about paneling?

I have tried everything, i even rented an electric snake from home depot but it would not break it up, there is only a small hole thru the builduip in my washing machine pipe that the water can get thru, it is backing up the water when i use the washing machine
